Restaurant Nuance

When I reserved this restaurant I was in a remote place on another continent. But I knew that once I am back in Belgium I will appreciate some real fine dining. I was not disappointed, but only pleased. Definitely the kitchen of chef Theys is one of the best food you can experience. The only thing I find a pity is the only option for 7 course menu on Friday/Saturday. I personally cannot eat so much, so when we ware reaching the final dishes it became a very little bit heavy for me. I understand the logistics behind the decision to serve only the 7 course menu. But I would love even less food in this experience, less is more ;) The wine selection is also interesting. I like the sommelier’s way of describing the wines. ;) Great experience overall.

Visited on 28 March 2025. Nuance is without a doubt one of the finest dining experiences in Belgium. Every visit feels like a special occasion: and for us, it truly is. This has become our annual tradition, and each time, the team at Nuance somehow manages to exceed our expectations. The food is a masterclass in creativity and balance, a perfect harmony of flavor, technique, and presentation. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or an international traveler seeking a culinary gem, Nuance is an experience not to be missed. Both the wine and non-alcoholic pairings are exceptional. Thoughtfully curated, each pairing complements the courses so well that it elevates the entire journey which it’s truly an experience in itself. A special mention must go to the host and service team, who are warm, knowledgeable, and flawlessly professional. Their attention to detail and personal touch create a welcoming atmosphere without ever being overly formal. You feel both pampered and at home. Nuance is not just a restaurant, it’s a celebration of taste, hospitality, and artistry. Highly recommended, time and time again. Simple Amazing!

We chose Nuance to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! The service was flawless, the food exceeded all expectations, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. We had a fantastic time at the restaurant and can confidently say it was a true fine dining experience. Highly recommend this place!

Works of art on a plate. Everything was delicious, sublime, fragrant, beautiful. A unique experience. Service at the highest level, friendly, smiling, always present. The only comment on the wines. I think there is room for refinement here. Also the non-alcoholic wines were slightly disappointing.

That was amazing time! Taste, colors and smells were everywhere! For sure we will come back in this beautiful place and friendly people! Man from wines is a beast! HE KNOWS EVERYTHING! Stuff is very friendly and happy. Price? We dont talking about price when its 2 stars;)

Iconic restaurant with a modern design and interesting gastronomic proposal. For a two star Michelin, the experience started with amazing appetizers and first courses but then lost a little steam.

Fine dining, a real experience from start till end. Every course is a real piece of art and the flavour combinations are amazing.

Exceptional food that's well deserving of its two stars. Was served some excellent and interesting combinations that played off each other perfectly. A special four course tasting menu came with five amuses and a selection of bread. Coffee or tea is 12€ but comes with an assortment of desserts or petit fours. Decor is modern and tasteful. With a massive wine cooler/display built into the wall I'm sure they can offer a good pairing but I suspect that could almost double the price. It's pricey, yes. The portions are small as they usually are when a restaurant is labelled as fine dining rather than for gourmands but for a special occasion this place is well worth trying.

Nice seating. The food is full of flavor, but the presentation is so boring I almost fell asleep. It's almost nothing but circles. So: enjoy the taste, but don't mind the same kind of presentation over and over again.
