Ristorante Oliveto

The food was fantastic. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars was only because I absolutely liked the tiramisu but didn’t love it (tiramisu is my favorite dessert, so the bar is set pretty high). The service was great as well.

It was my husbands birthday and wanted to go to a nice place for lunch. We stumbled upon this restaurant as most nice restaurants are closed for lunch on weekdays and restaurant oliveto offers a nice lunch option. We took the option 3 course menu. This varies every week, so not going into detail of each dish. Just be prepared to be surprised. What we can say is that we loved the starter and the main course. The dessert options were not that good on the day we went but it is more the question of what one likes I guess. But the presentation was on point! We got a seat at the window and hence a view with Rhine river. That was nice too.

Went here two times on my vacation because it was that good! Everything we had exceeded our expectations and the service was perfect! Even when it started to rain outside, they helped everyone move to a spot to stay dry and still enjoy their meal. The location is right on the river which was a beautiful scene to look at while dining.

Unfortunately another rainy, windy and cloudy spring day in Bonn. Therefore dining outside wad not an option. Too bad as the terrace offers a great view on the river Rhine and the Siebengebirge. Nice environment, but the restaurant room is too noisy for having a quiet conversation. Nice people and decent food. However, when serving lobster, one would expect to obtain the necessary tools such tongs and pen... The house Tiramisu was great, the green peppers give it an additional flavour. It even becomes hot and spicy when you eat them ...

I decided to celebrate my birthday in a good restaurant. A beautiful restaurant in the very center of the city. The service is very good, the waitresses flutter unnoticed next to you. the food disappointed me. I don’t know why Michelin recommended this place. the food is very mediocre. The menu listed on the website is not correct

Very nice good, brillant location, friendly staff. The only improvement I can think of, is switching from order taking on paper, to some electronic means; that would make 'splitting the bill' a lot easier.... 😊

I visited the Oliveto for celebrating the marriage if a friend. I was expecting for them to prepare something extra, because normally restaurants offer a dessert or something extra for the celebration. The service was good, but the waitresses were not fully prepared (with drinks menu for example). In general, the experience was good and the food was really amazing 😋. I recommend the Oliveto, but the service quality can improve for the prices of the food.

My husband and I went to OLIVETO restaurant for our anniversary. We've booked for 19.30pm, there are not so many customers and we sit for 30 minutes without being attended by any waiter. So, we decided to leave, and they didn't even notice. How could they get Michelin recommendations? Definitely not recommended!
