Restaurant Otok

Very disappointed. I never understood the concept, in one hand they don’t accept people on swimsuits, but there was a guy in trunks and shirtless. In one hand they have Michelin signs at the outside, but the food is very average. American food with regular quality. The cucumber salad very plane. Maybe the beef burrito and the buffalo wings were ok. The lemonade and the Mexican mule were good. I give them three stars because of the place, the service and the prices, but everything else didn’t worth it.

Beautiful open air island setting in the olive trees. Food was good, but frankly, expecting better for a michelin reviewed location, especially three years in a row. Far more attentive service in other places in town.

Great location, nice food, normal prices.. We had beef gnocchi, tuna sauce gnocchi and fried squids with a glass of white wine and a bottle of water. The bill was 54 euros. The terrace in the evening is magic.

Delicious clam pasta, fish soup, really good local white wine. The staff were very relaxed and extremely competent - the fish was very fresh and tasty.

They supposedly have Michelin accreditation from 2023 through 2025, but it sure does not correlate with our experience. The lunch was a total lackluster. Plain, tastless American food with regular freezer fries! The kind of food you could expect at an amusement park during off-season. I felt mislead. I would have never chosen this place if not the Michelin stars. Our waiter disappeared somewhere and we did not see him. A table next to us decided to go inside and pay. Again, if you promote the restaurant with the Michelin stars you have to meet the expectation of at least basic standard service. If he would have been somewhere to be seen or come to see if everything was ok, we could at least ask why the Otok parmesan potatoes where switched to freezer fries. We did not want to waste more of our holiday time or energy when we finally had the chance to pay for our meal. But as it stands please reimburse our lunch lol.

Friendly and attentive staff, picturesque and cosy Dalmatian atmosphere, the ribeye steak was juicy and delicious, but getting French fries next to it (in the menu just says "potatoes") was just a "šaka u oko" (unbefitting such a gourmet meal). Would make much more sense to have this clearly written in the menu - everyone knows what French fries are. Apple strudel desert is a must try! 😋

Lovely place, wonderful service. Relaxing atmosphere. Moderate portion size, men might need the full menu to leave with a full stomach, but the food is tasty and fresh.

Great ambience. Definitely a good spot for a date night. We had the caprese salad, mussels, sea bass and yellowfin tuna. Everything was very tasty. The service was excellent and we got our food very quickly. These reviewers who said things are super expensive must not live in the US. We thought everything was fair priced for the quality.
