More than a dinner - It’s a symphony and an experience.
We came with high expectations and they were all by far exceeded. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat with the great welcoming and the open view of the main kitchen - it is like watching a music concert.
We took the eight-course menu with wine pairing and it was an absolute delight. Each course was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, emotion and surprise. The chef's attention to detail was evident in every dish, and the use of seasonal and local ingredients added an extra layer of freshness and complexity.
What really stood out to me was the service. The staff, kitchen staff and main chief were all very attentive, explaining each dish with enthusiasm and professionalism. There is a story behind the meal selection and you somehow feel you are taking part of a journey,
The wine pairing was also outstanding, perfectly complementing each course and enhancing the flavors of the food. The sommelier was also extremely friendly and professional and you can feel the passion he has for wine selection. If you are in for a Wine talk, local or international recommendations, you will enjoy his performance even more. He also gave us a tour of the “chateau” (with grand opening planed in few months) witch was a refreshing break and added another personal touch to the experience.
As a Grand final, the chef Jan Knedla gave us a private tour of his kitchens (yes it’s a gastronomy place so they have several modules) in a very friendly way.
Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, and by far the best one in Czech Republic. If you're looking for a truly exceptional fine dining experience, this restaurant and Jan Knedla’s talent (and his team) is not to be missed. If this restaurant would be in France, it would already have Michelin star(s). We will be back!
