Unexpected. Best. Restaurant. Be sure to ask the hostess about its story. I am delighted with the food and service. It is better than Michelin-starred restaurants in Barcelona, Lisbon, and Moscow.

We had the most delightful stay and tasting course dinner. Highlights for me were the Ravioli course and the Duck course... the most delicious duck i have ever tasted. But it was all excellent. We were looked after superbly by award winning Sommelier Heike and her adorable and very capable son. We will be back. Thank you, Heike and Restaurant Philipp

Quaint and cozy 10-12 seater restaurant in the old town of Sommerhausen. Off the beaten path, definitely. Had a lovely dinner with my Wife. Staff was very accommodating, did not pressure us when we were deciding but rather gave good advise and explained the meal that made the experience special. Chef came out at the end of the dinner which was welcoming.

This place is an absolute dream. Had a wine pairing lunch as part of a wine pilgrimage led by Dr. Gisela Kreglinger (the spiritual connections of wine, food, land, terroir, and history). The food was incredible, and the wine pairing perfect.

nach unserer Wahrnehmung auf dem Weg zum zweiten **... ...nochmals verbesserte Küche z.B. mit bestens sortiertem Käsewagen -aber besonders nochmals gesteigerten Serviceleistungen durch Einstieg des "Juniors" mit beachtlichem Talent und Hingabe. Hat uns ausgezeichnet gefallen zum Abendessen am 03.05.2025.
