Restaurant Prosper

Incredible service, food and amazing setting. We paid the same amount as other restaurants who were not Michelin like this one, with food that was much finer. Best food we had in burgundy, and the waitresses were very nice with our food restrictions and suggested alternatives. 105€ for full menus for 2 persons, with 2 glasses of wine, a coffee and cheese. Unbeatable quality-price ratio. Thank you for this wonderful experience. We highly recommend it

I see why this place is only Michelin rated but doesn't have a star. First, the food was good, although the menu was limited. The started and entree were a little over salted and the pumpkin tart dessert was bland, lacking in the usual spices that accompany pumpkin pies and tarts. My mother makes a better one. The setting was nice, but they had just sprayed their vines with pesticides so all the gnats were circling us all night which was annoying. When I informed the waiter, he was very rude about it. In fact, he was rude and curt the whole experience. The service was some of the worst I have experienced in France sadly. I think Prosper has the potential to be great, but sadly it seems there is a lot lacking.

Visited twice in May and June 2023 for lunch. Great view out to the vineyard and nice atmosphere. Kind and professional staffs. They were thankfully welcoming with babies as well. Started with amuse bouche and ended with desserts. Lamb, pork(photo missing) and époisses were my personal highlights. Will return.

Normally we only post positive reviews. We read good reviews and love saint aubin wines so we thought why not. We choose the menu. First course picahna as carpaccio with tomato cold bouillon and vegetables which was nice, second tartare of Seabream, which didn’t look very attractive. Coconutecream with tartare of fish in soysauce with pinenuts. Serious? Awful. Maindish: porc with bell pepper, sauce was nice but tiny piece of porc. Maindish? No. Cheese was dish with Epoise, mousse and apricots. We didn’t like the combination. Dessert pavlova with berries. Layer meringue, berries, cream. No fantasy. We had the wine clos chateau from prosper house. We loved the wine but were disappointed about the food. We saw some very good dishes passing by. The menu 5 small courses for more than 70 euros was waste of money. Sorry for the review but this restaurant needs improvement on the menu. Service polite but not enough attention for our table. No Atmosphere.

Had our dinner there with a group of friends. Very nice scenery coupled with great food at reasonable prices.

Nice setting overlooking vineyards. Food was very average unfortunately (maybe on us for ordering the vegetarian option?) and I thought wine prices were astronomical given that this is a restaurant attached to a Chateau - about 3x the price from the cellar door.

Wow!! What a restaurant! The food was simply Amazing, the cheese “table” completely original!! I will come back! And I recommend it 100%

Good food and nice ambiance. Unfortunately, the service experience is friendly but quite bad (forgot my food twice, very slow service overall, wine was brought much too late, other wine I asked for forgotten, didn’t clear plates after courses, wrong price on bill) — likely at least partly due to clear understaffing. But the obvious underperformance was also not owned by the team — we didn’t even get a sorry. Would love to want to return but most likely won’t.
