"Vanessa Massé, a renowned sommelier who is always on the hunt for natural wines, collaborates closely with her associate, Finnish chef Pinja Paakkonen, who has already worked in a MICHELIN-starred kitchen in Denmark. On the ground floor, in a decor characterised by its bold use of cool tones, Pure & V features a healthy and balanced menu, based on carefully sourced ingredients, with particular emphasis on vegetables: roasted fennel, sauce fermented with white asparagus and fresh dill oil; quail cooked whole, smoked beurre blanc; bavarois with camomile and satsuma mandarin. A small fine dining restaurant with friendly and professional staff. We had the 9-course menu with wine pairing. The whole menu was a success, and in my opinion, some of the dishes were extraordinarily fresh and tasty. Combined with some very good wine choices, the evening was well worth the price.

We experienced an intimate dining experience with wine pairing and were blown away by the food, and the team. This is the best meal we experienced at our time in Nice. We went to two other Michelin restaurants and they were not as delicious and special as Pure & V. I was blown away with the wine pairing, and I’m still dreaming of the delicious food we were served. Was in Nice and my partner made this reservation for my birthday. From start to finish this was one of the best dining experiences we both ever had. He literally cried at some point. Staff was amazing. Felt very comfortable and at home vs other Michelin star restaurants. The chef was nice enough to not only sign the menu for me for my birthday but came out and talked to us for sometime. Even was kind enough to provide us with an extra serving of their dessert which was the last. Would come back in a heartbeat.

What an amazing place to eat. We had the vegetarian menu and every single course was outstanding, particularly the beet rose with smokey sauce. Outstanding! The chef brought each course to the table and explained it. The waiters and wines were amazing. Really an extraordinary experience. Worth every cent!

We visited for dinner, amazing plates, so tasty and well presented. If you are in Nice and you are looking for fine dinning, this place is the choice. The owner, staff and chefs are explaining everything in detail. Professionalism and perfection, thank you very much for the amazing dinner, when will be in Nice again we will come back for sure. Michelin star is well deserved!

Food was excellent but wines were totally overpriced (in june -23). This food deserves real classical wines, not some natural wines which are not up to the food. The quality of wines was low (sorry). Also the amount of wine wasn't right. In the wine package I understand there are many wines and we don't need much each quality. But if we pay 22 € for a glass of shampagne, it should be at least close to 12 cl. Service: the kitchen staff did really good job explaining every single plate but the waitresses were only ok - not to the level of the restaurant. As I said - Food was excellent.

We have been visiting Pure et V now 4 times. It has become a go-to place for us, when we are in Nice. We love natural wines and great food with a thoughtful twist, and this combines so well at Pure et V. Vanessa is superb with finding the right wines and here the taste of the food unites with the wines in a way, I have not tried anywhere else. Pinja - who has been the chef there the last 2 years - stands for creativity and excellence in combining taste from different ingredients, so we are here - in my humble opinion - clearly above the "just" 1 star at Michelin. In addition the atmosphere in the restaurant - the "relaxedness" and the tranquility - makes this one of those places you just want to return to. We have by the way had the pleasure and fun to take a look at the fish Steve brings in and sell from Port Lympia in the morning and then eaten it in the evening at Pure et V. Just excellent and great. We will be back.
