"This traditional family-run inn, opened in 1969, stands in a fortified village perched on a hill opposite Le Castellet. The wonderful view takes in a landscape of pines, palm trees and vineyards. The Provençal-inspired à la carte and set menus highlight fish from the Mediterranean and lamb from the Alpilles, Solliès fig etc. There are charming guestrooms spread out among several houses in the village." - Michelin Inspector

Very decent place for dinner with fantasy food combining Italian, provençal and French food. Sunset views complete the entire experience. Reserve a week in advance. Expect to spend approx 100 eur per person

We were invited to a dinner here a received a warm welcome and had the 4 courses degustation menu! Each course was presented in a creative and beautiful way on various plates! The combinations of regional and seasonal vegetables with fish and meat were delicious! All waiters spoke French and English with us and took very good care of us including recommending amazing wines for each course! Highly recommend this as a great experience!

At the top of La Cadiere d'Azur, you'll find this place with a real beautiful view on the vineyards and the other villages around. The chef is really passionate as almost every vegetable and fruit come from their own garden. The cheese, the meat and the fish come also from very near and regional producer. The personnel is young and nice.

Hard to believe this is a 1 star Michelin with just a ok service. Food has everything you can dream of: originality, surprising in flavors and colors, everything was a pleasure for the eyes and the palate. But sorry the service has to be at the same level if you have a 1 star Michelin Chef came out and made the mistake to pour our bottle of wine to a different table . That was actually pretty funny. But instead of a tap on my shoulder and a clumsy comment they should have at least got a bottle of the wine that I was drinking and level our glasses. Common sense and practice. Mainly when you pay $306 for 2 people and drop a $50 tips on top with not even a thank you at the end, you expect a little bit more We asked for our check 5 times over 30 minutes stating that we had to go ( kids with babysitter). We travelled from Los Angeles and even though most of the waiters are not professional over there, you get most of the time a better Sercice with more people checking on you quite often . Don’t get me wrong, food is amazing there. Our waiter was very nice but probably staff is just not ready to be worth a Michelin star. Don’t mean to hurt the restaurant business so I still put a 4 stars review but we probably won’t be back

Google
One-star Michelin Restaurant on site of Hostellerie Bérard & Spa. We visited during lunch hours. The restaurant is on the hill side looking over to the beautiful country side below. Foods were good as typical one-star Michelin. However, we didn't feel the vibe of one-star as the waiters just put down the dishes and walked away instead of spending time to explain the dishes as in other Michelin restaurants.

The restaurant is located in a very nice medieval village with an incredible view to neighbouring Le Castellet. The restaurant has a nice setting and special atmosphere. Unfortunately we have managed to go on an average day. The welcome at the reception was very friendly and we looked forward to having a great lunch. Unfortunately the staff was not very professional and the food expensive, but no better than average. I would have expected something much, much better. I very rarely give an average comment, but here I have to. In order to make them aware of rather poor performance. I hope it was a “bad day”, which can happen to all of us.
