Sir Richard Branson's Newest Resort, Son Bunyola, Is Now Open

"Housed in the Tafona building — which contains the estate’s historic olive press and also accommodates two suites and two rooms — Sa Tafona is slated to open soon as the property’s wine and tapas bar; it will be part of the same food program led by chef Samuel G. Galdón and will draw on the island-forward, largely estate-sourced ingredient philosophy." - Jennifer Bradley Franklin Jennifer Bradley Franklin Jennifer Bradley Franklin is an Atlanta-based multi-platform journalist and author, specializing in travel, food, interior design, and other lifestyle topics. Very nice place, good service, nice local food and a cozy busy atmosphere. We enjoyed some local dishes that tasted good! The resraurant has a good grill but we did not want a meat dish for dinner, so we missed that unfortunately. The place is next to a village with people from local hotels gathering for dinner. We would recommend for an authentic local experience.

We stopped here going from Sa Calobra back to home, there was a free table and we were welcomed very warmly. The food is very good, the service is super friendly. We spent a nice time there. And it was a live music.

Absolutely amazing place in the Mallorcan countryside. ☀️ This place has the most wonderful food and service - and their terrace is stunning. 🙏 The prices are very reasonable compared to the high quality level. We will definitely come back again.

100% can recommend this restaurant. We reserved a table prior to our visit. The food was very delicious, the waiters were very nice. You should bring some extra time to go into their store to buy some delicious Olive Oil. There’s parking right in front of the restaurant.

Ordered the seafood pasta it was a bit overcooked and not as much flavor from sea food as I expected. Other than that staff members were lovely.

Very cute and pleasant restaurant. Food was okay, not amazing… The prices were okayish, a bit above average. Service was okay as well - but there was one waitress that looked like she hated working there and was borderline rude. The others were good and compensated for her. There’s a store beside where you can buy some gifts, olive oil and such…
