After a long time, I decided to finally share my experience, because I will never allow myself to tolerate such rudeness again. My partner had booked a table — we had a big occasion to celebrate. We were both very excited to visit what was supposed to be one of the best restaurants in town.
Unfortunately, from the moment we stepped through the door, it didn’t feel welcoming. The interior was dull and uninviting — though that’s subjective — but the attitude of the staff was simply unacceptable. I don’t know if you have an issue with international guests, but when I politely asked if the menu was available in English, the “waiter” replied that “we are in France, and here we speak French.” Such an attitude is shocking in a restaurant that should pride itself on hospitality — at the very least, we expected basic courtesy, regardless of the language we spoke.
The whole atmosphere felt cold and unprofessional, and for a place that claims to be among the city’s best, it was a complete disappointment. This was my first — and by far the worst — dining experience in this region. The food was underwhelming, overpriced, the dessert was awful, and the service was downright rude.
