Restaurant Shiraz - für Genießer

I loved everything about this place. The service, the food, and the wine is a must to pair. Unfortunately I was upset to see the table next to us had a wet dog with a couple in which was somehow allowed in a nice restaurant where I spent around 500$ on 2 people. The worst part is this couple would go outside to smoke after every course and coming back in ruined my experience a little with the smell of cigarettes and dog. Even after a no animals sign posted on the entrance. Otherwise would be 5 stars. This would be considered illegal in America due to restaurant health laws. Also, was surprised to see the man in a messy looking T shirt with graphics on it. Usually this class of a restaurant wouldn't allow this dress code. But, it was the best food and service I've ever had and will be going back given the chance. The waiter was nice enough to take his time in presenting exactly whats being served along with a lovely description along with a little history and knowledge of every wine being paired. Get the wine, they did an excellent job choosing the pairings and it makes the dinner just burst with more flavor. Also, the waiter explained everything in English and accommodated me very well.

Outstanding food. Proffesional service. Reasonable price. Definitely, i will ne there during my next visit to the Ruhr area. I am not a wine drinker but selection seemed very reach.

80–90 € What a culinary overwhelming evening. There is nothing to complain about. Perfect aromatic with oriental influences. Not a „Can do“ …. It‘s a „Must have“ evenig.

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Abend im Shiraz erlebt - eine phantastische Küche, frische neue Ideen - gelungene Kombination aus orientalischer und europäischer Küche.

Ein Stern – und doch ein ganz neues Leuchten! Nach dem Umzug war ich gespannt, ob das Restaurant seinen gewohnten Standard halten kann – und wurde mehr als überrascht: Alles ist nicht nur auf dem alten Top-Niveau, sondern sogar noch einen Tick besser! Der neue Küchenchef bringt frischen Wind mit, ohne den Charakter des Hauses zu verlieren. Jeder Gang war präzise abgestimmt, kreativ und dabei herrlich harmonisch. Der Service wie immer aufmerksam und herzlich, das neue Ambiente stilvoll und einladend. Ein echtes Erlebnis – und ein verdienter Stern, der jetzt noch heller strahlt. Absolute Empfehlung!
