We really enjoyed this restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, good service and, of course, delicious food. They offer two set menus with several course meals. Each course is paced well. Some dishes are served by the chef himself. You can also order meals a la carte. Good wine selection. Reasonable prices. The combinations of flavors are amazing. Ruccola ice-cream is out of this world, definitely an unforgettable flavor. Highly recommend this restaurant for a Michelin star level experience.

Great place if you want an awesome fine dining experience. Of course the food is great, but I really enjoy, that Soul Food is not as pretentious as many other places which have Michelin stars.

The combination of excellent food, caring & knowledgeable staff, in a lovely setting in the small town of Auerbach; made this night out an “experience” rather then just a birthday dinner. I would recommend this restaurant to people looking for great dinning experience. Try it! You won’t regret it.

We had a amazing buffet for a Birthday. The stuff is so lovely and welcoming. I liked that there was always a Veg. Alternativ and they all tasted as good as the meet counterparts. We feeled the good quality of the food.

Wow, what an absolute gem to find! Off the beaten path, but well worth the excursion to try Chef Michael Laus 4 course tasting menu simply titled "this one" or "that one." The atmosphere is quite relaxed without an enforced dress code. Most diners were in jeans and a button shirt paying homage to the Chef's wishes to enjoy the food without any of the traditional formalities. And did I not mention SoulFood earned a well deserved 1 Michelin Star in 2022?!! So I definitely recommend the restaurant for a place in indulge without the stress of 'dressing for the occasion.' The tasting menu is seasonal and always changing, and one would be lucky to try the level of sophistication coming out from this kitchen. The dining area is relatively small and I believe they only sit one cover a night; so reservations are a MUST! We came with a party of four, and the tasting menu was at a relative bargain at $89 euros given that the tax and tip is include (although we did still tip a little more for the superb hospitality!). The tasting menu started a couple of amuse which only gets you mouth watering for the mains! All of courses displayed the essence of "NYC" uniqueness and cooked to perfection. We paired each course was an amazing selection of local wine that were less than $5 euros a pour, and these pours were HEAVY. There was added flare with the tableside presentations and Chef Laus greeted and served at least one dish to everyone in the restaurant! Even though I've been quite spoiled by the culinary genius of New York dining scene, I was left full, but wanting more!

One of the best restaurants in the upper palalintate (Oberpfalz). The presentations are superb, ambience is nice, the food and desserts are top notch and the staff are very friendly! The menu is in Deutsch, but the staff speaks English and can translate fluently all the dishes on the menu! My first visit was back in 2012 and was impressed with service and quality of the meals. The prices are moderate, but can elevate if you select 3-4 course meals that are on the menu. Reservations are recommended due to the space, popularity and great selections on the menu card!
