Restaurant Sukerieje

We had high hopes for Sukerieje, given its Michelin recommendation, but unfortunately our experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. We visited with a group of five and chose the 3-course chef’s menu with wine pairing. The vegetable-forward dishes were creative and well-executed, but the wine pairing was underwhelming. Serving the same wine with two of the three courses felt like a missed opportunity, especially at this level. A bit more variety and attention to detail would have made a big difference.

A beautiful restaurant with amazingly gorgeous waiters! Tables outside were nicely spaced out so you can definitely social distance from others while dining. Overall, it was a lovely visit that made our trip to the Netherlands even more special. Strongly recommend! Great choices for vegetarians and pescatarians 👏👏.

Enjoyed dinner here multiple times and they never disappoint. Clean and well-balanced flavors while still being able to pack a punch. This is place I like to take my table guests who appreciate a fine dinner without an overly stuffy atmosphere.

Great place, amazing food and service. It is located in the city centre of Zwolle and offers a terrace with a lot of sun hours. The vegetarian menu is delicious and is carefully crafted therefore offers a great taste experience. They use local products, of which the Rotterdam tofu and tomato dish was our favourite.
