What an incredible discovery my boyfriend and I made yesterday when we dined at this restaurant. The service was impeccable; our waitress was not only charming and attentive but also exceptionally professional, making us feel welcome from the start.
A highlight of the evening was meeting the chef, who personally presented and served us his dishes. Each plate was thoughtfully crafted, showcasing both his culinary expertise and his evident passion for cooking. The menu featured flavorful and perfectly prepared dishes, including fresh fish and delicate grey shrimp, as well as fèves du marais (broad beans), an ingredient that requires great skill to peel and cook properly. The chef's commitment to seasonality was clear, with ingredients such as wild garlic (ail des ours) and sweet peas (petits pois) bringing a fresh, vibrant touch to the meal.
To accompany our meal, we enjoyed an exceptional bottle of Hervé Dubois Blanc de Blanc champagne, a refined choice from a small producer in the Champagne region. Its elegant flavor perfectly complemented the dishes.
For dessert, the chef served a reimagined version of tiramisu. It was an exquisite take on the classic, flawlessly executed and absolutely delicious.
This restaurant impressed us on every level, from the service to the thoughtful, beautifully prepared dishes. It’s an experience I would recommend without hesitation—10/10!
