"The wrought-iron sign of the centuries-old Tanglberg announces the "gallery and restaurant" that lie behind the listed façade, where both contemporary art and good food await you. Maximilian Schellerer presides in the kitchen, serving up a clear cuisine, reduced to the essentials and featuring modern elements. Two five-course set menus are offered. The chef uses high-quality produce, such as fabulously fresh hand-dived scallops from Norway, brought to you pan-fried to perfection and delicately seasoned, or first-rate rack of lamb, herb-crusted with a light and aromatic crumb coating. Service is provided by the dedicated hostess, owner Friederike Maria Staudinger, who clearly takes great pleasure in her front-of-house role. I was struggling with this review since Restaurant Tanglberg doesn't fall into the typical restaurant category to begin with. Since this is a Gallery as well I do consider this food experience as a symphony of "flavors". Tastes I did not experience before - every bite was exceptional. I have been to very good dining places but Tanglberg is my new dining quality and experience reference.

Top top top - Michelin quality stunning restaurant. Young waitstaff but eager and pleasant. Food was refined, creative, perfectly delicious. I’d have thought I was in the French countryside!

Diesen Genuss kann man gar nicht in Worte fassen. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden zu Gast. Die Patronin trägt dazu natürlich einen Großteil bei. Die Kreationen aus der Küche von Herrn Schellerer sind gleichermaßen exquisit wie auch genussvoll und zeugen von hoher Kreativität. Die Tellersprache ist ausdrucksstark und sehr harmonisch. Die Kompositionen sind von hervorragender Qualität und ein ausgetüfteltes Gesamtkunstwerk. Die umfassende Weinkarte sollte echten Weinkennern vorbehalten bleiben, alle anderen dürfen sich gerne auf die Beratung von Frau Staudinger verlassen!
