"Vegetables, fish or meat – the wonderful produce that the Netherlands has to offer is the biggest source of inspiration for Jin Hu and his team of artisans. He takes his cue from the micro seasons and lets nature dictate what goes into his French-Asian fusion dishes. Sustainability is at the heart of this cuisine, which is characterised by the intense authentic flavours of ultra fresh ingredients, as well as an element of surprise. Be sure to sample the extraordinary range of natural wines and special beers." - Michelin Inspector

Outstanding food and service! We dined here on a quiet Tuesday evening for the 5-course experience and found the entire team locked in on our experience—special thanks to Jannes for making it a memorable dining experience! Each dish was expertly prepared, fresh, creative, locally sourced, and delicious. The wine pairings were perfectly matched even if sometimes nontraditional—trust them! As others have said, it is pricey but no pricier than other restaurants at this level; and it's rare to find this kind of attentive and knowledgeable service. It was true hospitality. We will be back!

Excellent high end place with creative food combination, outstanding service and nice atmosphere. We selected the 4 course menu on out visit and were not disappointed. If you are a vegetarian or have special requirements the dishes will be adjusted as needed. Pricey, but justified for the overall experience.

a Michelin Bib gourmand restaurant. pretty good services, many excellent wines and very fresh foods. It's a good selection for you when there's a special anniversary or when you have to treat someone. Highly recommended it.

This was a really great experience. Dinner was excellent and not too expensive. Wines are absolutely worth a detour. Service is attentive. Recommend the Waygu servings!

Started out ok but ended as a horrible experience. BE CAREFUL! When we got there, the waitress lady was really genuinely kind and greeted us with great hospitality and sat us down at our table. The waiter came and asked us if we wanted oysters to start with and we said yes. Which afterwards turned out to be a mistake. My oyster did not taste that good but I did not spit it out. For dinner we picked the 5 course menu and they brought out some usual sourdough bread with some whipped butter which they tried to market it as something really special. Afterwards there was an inconsistent service with some plates being explained and some not. It took them more than 3 hours to serve 3 of the 5 course tasting menu and at one point we decided to skip a course because it was taking way too long. Out of the 4 we tried I really liked the soup and the dumpling and the rest tasted ok. It was very clear that they were understaffed and the owner didn't seem to mind that too much. The place has an unnecessary aggressive "headchef" / owner as you can read about in some other reviews as well. He came to our table before desert and I could tell he didn't mind his personal hygiene either that much, looking at his hands and fingernails. We asked him if the desert contained any nuts. He said "no" and brought out two little macarons (coin size) and two bite size jelly deserts. My partner has a very severe nut allergy so she asked again if they were sure that the macarons did not contain any sort of nuts. (because they usually make them with almond flour, she said) He again said no, but we could see that he was tipsy and not quite sure of the severeness of the situation. We asked him to ask the desert chef for confirmation and he said "yes, it did". The owner then turned to us and said "I have nut allergy too but I eat the macaron and nothing happens so don't worry" and he had a very unprofessional smirk on his face which made us quite uncomfortable. We had been sitting on an uncomfortable chair for almost 4 hours now in a very noisy restaurant due to lacking of sound proofing on the ceiling and the food wasn't that great and now we had to deal with the drunk owner. At this point the waitress at the beginning understood our frustration and intervened and took the owner away from our table. We just wanted to get out of there after that. We paid the bill and headed towards the exit where the owner cut my girlfriend off and wanted to talk to her. She declined him politely and told him that we had to leave. All of a sudden the owner flipped out and raised his voice at her. Everybody stood shocked. Me, the waiters, the chefs in the background and the customers nearby were all shocked at his behaviour. I intervened this time and had to tell him to back off or else..... He then understood what he did and backed off but I left that place incredibly tense and angry. So angry that I googled the owner and found out that he is a rude aggressive coward of a man who clearly is not a gentleman and thinks it ok to show aggression towards woman. He ruined a great night for me and his nasty oyster worked its magic on me in the morning and I had a very upset stomach for 3 days. I would never go back to this place again even if they paid me to eat there and I would never ever recommend this place to anyone.

Before you start wondering why 2 stars: just look at how the Green Rose owner responds to negative reviews on google 🤦🏻‍♀️ suuuper aggressive! I was QUITE disappointed with the 85 eur pp menu. Snack size bites and many of them with questionable combinations of flavors. I can guarantee that you will leave semi hungry because everything is so tiny. Some things tasted quite good but holy molly it is so tiny I cannot get over it. When we asked for extra bread during the dinner cause we kept starving they gave us a weird look. They also forgot our drinks and when it got busy we struggled to get their attention to remind of those. All in all: unique, seasonal and tasty but way overpriced. WAY! 5 course dinner at a 1* michelin resto costs this much and you get way more and better The atmosphere is cool and their service is so so. So Green rose did not live up to it. (And yes before Green rose staff responds to this post telling me my name was not on any reservations please look up Joey Matla.) Not a business worth supporting for me.
