Restaurant Thomas

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant last night, and it was nothing short of amazing! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was the real star of the show. To top it all off, the ambiance was cozy and inviting, making for a perfect evening out. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and exceptional service.

We had four courses with little surprise tastings in between. Each course was delicious! It was the perfect amount in each course and we left feeling happy and satisfied. The staff were great and explained each course as it came. The white chocolate emulsion with raspberries was to die for!

Very tasty food with a ‘fusion’ influence. Staff were great but the food was a bit slow to appear. Worth the wait though.

Food was fantastic at Restaurant Thomas. Potatoes were very good and the steak was perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed the razor clams too. However, service was slow and unattentive.

Popular restaurant under the Thomas brand. The taste was exquisite and service was efficient. However, the price runs fairly steep for what you get, especially the €9 glass of wine and €3 espresso. No wonder they don’t have a drink menu to show you.

Update: One year later, we came back to Lyon and had to return to this fabulous place! I can only say that Chef Thomas is creating a special kind of magic. This is food cooked with love. If you're in Lyon, you owe it to yourself to come here. I'm afraid that my vocabulary isn't well enough equipped to explain the magic that Chef Thomas creates daily in this beautiful, cozy restaurant. In a city like Lyon, that is known for its food, this was the best that I have had. I will definitely be coming back to beautiful Lyon and this place is one of the reasons.

Really delicious food - creative but classic with a focus on seasonal ingredients. Very friendly service. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish.

Restaurant Thomas was wonderful. We were impressed by Chef Thomas's dishes which had delicious and masterful combinations of flavors and textures. We had the celery risotto with black truffle and the beef gravlax to start and the stuffed quail and braised pork cheek next. For dessert we had the Corsican clementine declination and the Caramelized " pain perdu " with roasted rum pineapple and vanilla ice cream. All delicious, perfect portion sizes and friendly service. Le restaurant Thomas était merveilleux. Nous avons été impressionnés par les plats du chef Thomas qui présentaient de délicieuses et magistrales combinaisons de saveurs et de textures. Nous avons commencé par le risotto de céleri à la truffe noire et le gravlax de bœuf, suivis de la caille farcie et de la joue de porc braisée. Pour le dessert, nous avons pris la déclinaison de clémentines corses et le pain perdu caramélisé avec ananas au rhum rôti et glace à la vanille. Tout est délicieux, les portions sont parfaites et le service est sympathique.

We are at the Cafe Thomas portion of the restaurant and it was amazing. We spent 60 Euros and left very full and that included a bottle of wine.
