MICHELIN Guide Inspectors’ 7 Favorites Dishes and Desserts in Toronto

"Excellent leek pkhali with five pucks made out of boiled sweet leeks, spinach, softly sweated onions, bound in a light walnut sauce. This was really good and the green vegetables came through so refreshing and vibrant. This dish is a reminder that not all Georgian food is heavy kebobs, filling dumplings or the gut-busting khachapuri." - MICHELIN Guide

Tiflisi Ups the Ante on Authentic Georgian Cuisine for Under $40

"Tiflisi serves some of the most authentic Georgian dishes in Canada. From lamb khinkali with warm broth to mouthwateringly delicious kebabs topped with fried potatoes, the menu at this family-owned boîte is just as comforting as home. Portions are generous and meant to be shared. Customer favorites include Assorted Pkhali or Badrijani, Khachapuri Acharuli or Imeruli Khachapuri, and main dishes like Chashushuli or Ckmeruli. Prices range from $37-40, which depends on the nature of the order. Georgian food must be shared, and with a large selection of dishes, it is recommended to order a variety and share. The best time to stop by varies, with weekdays offering more privacy and weekends being busier. The idea behind Tiflisi was to celebrate Georgian cuisine in Toronto, and the menu is based on authentic family recipes and the chef's vision." - MICHELIN Guide

Tiflisi

"East of downtown Toronto in Beaches, the Pkhakadze family delivers some of the city’s best and brightest Georgian cooking. Portions are built to share so bring a friend or two. The cold leek pkhali salad bound in a light walnut sauce is a vibrantly green beginning and especially essential before the Acharuli khachapuri arrives. A celebration of carbs and dairy, this stretch of fluffy bread cradles a pool of melted cheese topped with butter and an egg yolk. There’s more on the way: Large lamb khinkali with warm broth and long skewers of juicy kebabs topped with fried potatoes. Without question, this is hearty food, seasoned beautifully, prepared with care and radiating with all the comforts of home, wherever that may be." - Michelin Inspector

First time trying Georgian food and I am definitely coming back for more. We tried the eggplant rolls stuffed with cottage cheese, the fried pork & beef organ meat and dumplings. Everything was super delicious and filling. Their lemonades were also pretty nice

First time ever having Georgian cuisine and we will be back! We tried an array of food recommended by the very helpful waiter... and they were all superb. I cannot stop thinking about 2 dishes ... - Pkhali... vegetarian dips perfect with warm bread. My favourite is the best. - Lamb Kebab... juicy and succulent served with potatoes The restaurant was packed on a Wednesday evening, testament to great food and service. The only food that was not to my taste is the giant soup dumpling though the rest of out table scoffed them down! It has a similar shape to a giant "xiao long pao" from Din Tai Fung! How fortunate to all who live in the Beaches area... as they can go to this restaurant as often as they want.

Google
First time having Georgian food and so glad to have found that restaurant! Delicious food and service was great given how busy they were. The Georgian kebab with potatoes was my favorite dish of the evening. Indoor and outdoor seating. There is no wait list but the line for a table went quickly. The cheese bread took about an 1h15m to come out but was worth the wait.

We had an amazing experience at Tiflisi! We ordered the borscht, Georgian bread with assorted pkhali, and the Khachapuri Tbilisuri — everything was absolutely delicious. As an Indian vegetarian, I truly appreciated the variety and flavors of these unique dishes. The service was fast, the staff were all smiling, attentive, and genuinely happy to serve. The ambience is cozy and has a distinct charm. Will definitely be going back soon!

Google
Juicy soup dumplings & this swirling cheese, egg & butter action in this boat shape bread(Acharuli Khachapuri)! Overalll I was impressed. Service was fantastic and they were pretty busy considering it was Monday. Next time want to try their sizzling meat platter.

I’ve been waiting to come here for a long time, and I can say it was definitely worth the curiosity. Everything was absolutely delicious! This was my first time trying Georgian food, and it was amazing. If you’re trying it for the first time, I highly recommend these dishes—you won’t regret it. Also, thank you for service; everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely loved this place! The food is delicious and super authentic. Portions are generous, perfect for sharing, and everything tasted homemade. The staff were really friendly and made great recommendations. Cozy, welcoming vibe too😀

Google
Small family-owned restaurant, big Georgian pride. We've never had Georgian cuisine before, and Tiflisi welcomed our curious and hungry tummies with open arms. We went here for dinner and tried: - Assorted Pkhali: Colourful balled up vegetable spreads with walnuts. Super refreshing, tastily nutty, and great with bread. - Khachapuri Acharuli: OMG this was good. It was basically a lake of cheese in a boat of some of the best bread in the city. There's a yolk and butter sitting on top which you mix in with the cheese, making it even more thick and gooey. Not sure if this is the Georgian version of fondue but it was waaaaay better. Everything about this dish was so good! - Traditional Khinkali: Dumplings with soup, with a thick outer skin and a small patty-like filling inside. The beef and pork mix was pretty tasty, and I really loved the thick coating. - Chashushuli: Essentially, beef stew on a hot plate. While I would have liked the beef cubes to be a bit more tender, the hearty stew packed them with flavour. - Cake Napoleon: Light and flaky and buttery. Just a really good dessert. - Pelamushi: A traditional Georgian dessert. Consistency was jello-like, but not as sweet and much more gritty than I'm used to. But that's what's awesome about trying new cuisines right? Getting exposed to things that look seemingly familiar but taste entirely different. Service was super welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Kitchen was quick despite it being packed. Prices are not cheap but reasonable for what you get. Place itself is small but interesting and has a great casual atmosphere. I'm no expert on Georgian cuisine but I've definitely fallen in love with it because of this spot. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
One of my favourite Georgian restaurants in the GTA!! All the dishes are so beautifully made and they taste incredible!! My favourite dish are the Khinkali and the Khachapuri! The service is one of the best here! The staff and owners are really kind and thoughtful! The ambiance is always happiness! I always have the best time at Tiflisi!

Yelp
Service 4/5, could a little more prompt Atmosphere pretty good, 5/5 The food was honestly just ok. Based on solyanka soup, eggplant appetizer, lamb shashlik. I've eaten at many georgian restos, the taste was not the top, it was just ok, overall experience was alright mixed feelings on whether i'd go back or not

Yelp
* 5 Stars are solely dedicated to the Traditional Khinkali (Georgian soup dumpling). First time to try Khinkali in my life and I LOVED this. Massive, full of meat, spices, and broth. Khinkali felt doughier than other types of dumplings especially the top knot part. But learned that this part is just a handle to hold the dumpling, and not supposed to eat. Make sense! They were boiled perfectly - the dough around the meat was soft and elastic. The inside was minced meat which was coarsely ground, and with the perfect amount of spices - super hearty. The broth was plenty and rich. One of the most powerful, flavorful and dynamic food that I have eaten ever. Served no frills. The simple deliciousness demonstrates the good quality of the ingredients and authenticity. SOOO Happy!!!!!

Yelp
We made reservations for 6:30 on a Thursday. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has nine tables. Although small it is modern and clean. Our server was really nice and gave us some suggestions as to what to order. We ordered several items as we were out for the authentic Georgian experience. For drinks we had the Feijoa compote, two semi-sweet Georgian red wines and a shot of chacha. All these were great The red wines tasted like real grape juice made into wine. Slightly sweet and delicious. The compote was refreshing and was a little like guava. Food: Georgian salad-tomato, cucumber, onion with walnuts and cilantro-deliciously fresh and great tasting. khachapuri #4 (cheese boat with egg yolk)-bread was freshly made and the cheese and egg yolk-wow!? khimkali traditional-stuffed dumplings with soup-nice and spicy-yummy! and chkmeruli (fried chicken with garlic sauce)-nicely fried with a creamy garlic sauce!!! This was my first experience with Georgian food and hopefully not my last....dont think I'm going to be able to find it in my area.

Yelp
What a great little place! Wonderful service and excellent food. I strongly recommend you call ahead and make reservations. Note, you will need to pay a deposit for the reservation. I'm guessing the restaurant has had too many people not show up for their reservation and losing out on potential walk-in business. The food is super taste. They seem to use quite a bit of cilantro, and if you are not a fan of it, like myself, the servers were great with providing recommendations of things I might like or dislike. We were a group of eight, so we were able to order a variety of items. Some of the highlights for us were: * Penovani - Puff pastry with cheese inside * Georgian Bread * Traditional Style "Khinkali" - Soup dumplings with beef & pork (this is one of the items with cilantro in it) * Chkmeruli - Fried chicken covered in a cream sauce with garlic (goes great with rice or bread) * Mixed Plate with Pork - comes with tried potatoes, marinated vegetables and rice. The menu says the platter seats 4 but we all agreed that I could easily feed 6 of us. * Strawberry Kompot We had a wonderful time, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Yelp
Georgian food is probably one of the world's most underrated and under-appreciated cuisine in Toronto. It has distinct flavours comparable to Greece and the Mediterranean as well as influences from Turkey and Persia. Toronto doesn't have a lot of Georgian restaurants so we're happy that we can at least try Georgian comfort foods at Restaurant Tiflisi. If there's one dish that you should try here - it's gotta be their Khinkali. Think of Khinkali as a comparison to a Chinese Xia Long Bao. The main difference being is that Khinkali is boiled while Xia Long Bao is steamed. Khinkali's dough is also much thicker which is similar to a Turkish Manti. Ordered Tiflisi's Traditional Style Khinkali and it was the real deal. The ground beef/pork filling was well seasoned and encased in a light and fluffy dough. It was pure heaven biting into one of these dumplings with delicious juices flowing into your mouth. Kachapuri Acharuli is another favorite here. It's a Georgian cheese boat bread with egg yolk in the middle. Buttery, cheesy and doughy, this cheese-filled bread ticks just about every comfort food box there is. Tiflisi is also a meat lover's paradise as their main dish menu is a plethora of meat and potatoes ranging from barbecue to stews. Their Chicken Shashlik and Beef/Pork Georgian Style Kebabs tasted juicy, moist and flavourful. Authentic comfort Georgian food, Tiflisi also now carries the Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction which is awarded to restaurants that offer multi-course meals at reasonable prices. An award that is well-deserved indeed!

Yelp
It's so hard to come to beaches and not eat at Limon, the restaurant next door which has been our favorite for a while. Finally, we made the leap and came here because we are big fans of the rich khachapuri. I think this is the only Georgian place or one of the few ones in GTA. Kachapuri was outstanding. It came out nice and hot and the cheeses and the eggs and butter were just perfect. The restaurant has a beautiful decor. Everything was smelling great. Wish we had a larger appetite to eat more. I know there will always be a next time. I would definitely categorize this place as fine dining. The service is very slow. That's the only reason I knocked a star off. The restroom is downstairs and has steep steps to go down.

Yelp
I have returned to Tiflisi 2 more times since our first visit, both times, we brought the family so we were able to sample more variety. Their food is so solid and everyone, I mean everyone including my picky tween, loves the food here. We have since tried beef stew, assorted phkali, lamb kabob, beef/pork kabob, chkmeruli (family fav), khinkali, veg stew, all the desserts on the menu. The service here is always exceptional and welcoming. This has quickly become our family favorite resto and I look forward to returning to try out the rest of their wonderful menu.

Yelp
Absolutely delightful, eye-opening experience. (Wild to see a non-East Asian culture have soup dumplings!) Played it relatively conservatively (in terms of selection) for a vegetarian friend, but I'm excited to come back and try all the options. Service and decor were lovely as well.

Yelp
A heavenly experience, a gastronomic adventure into Europe, A Delicious and satisfying meal of unique flavour to indulge. We stumbled upon this place by accident but will definitely go back. The are so many more dishes to try. I had their Georgian beef stew, tried their house bread with Georgian assorted vegetarian paté (Pkhali) "must try this". We also tried the Georgian salad. I have to go back and try their soup.

Yelp
Michelin bib gourmand for many reasons! Saocari fried eggplant stuffed with cream cheese (cold appetizer, $17.50 for 6 big pieces) and egg yolk pide boat khachapuri acharuli ($22.50) are delicious. There are a few hidden gem Georgian wines by the glass off-menu including orange Kakhuri ($13). Helpful detail oriented server. Jug of water on table for self service. Warm and comfy atmosphere with padded armchairs and exposed wood and brick interior design. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We came in here not knowing what to expect it was highly recommended by a friend who is from Kazakhstan and says she had Georgian food and it was very similar in the place is really good so we took her advice we came away from downtown. Very impressive! The food was fresh looked great, the presentation was really good, and everything tasted splendid. My favorite was the bread with the cheese which was freshly baked it was the first thing to come out so so good. The platter was also very good with a selection of all the meats veggies and the potatoes delicious. The place didn't have that strong of ambiance the light was very bright it is great for casual Meals With Friends, bring a date here is not that romantic but the fruit is good to impress her. Would definitely go back if I am in the beaches area. For the dessert we had all three definitely the best was the Napoleon cake. It was homemade crunchy and layer beautifully. And it is only $10, what a deal.

Yelp
Georgian cuisine is not commonly talked about as a style to try, so it peaked my interest to visit this restaurant near woodbine beach. Ambience-wise was really cool with artifacts set around the dining area and a bright, talkative environment. Server was fantastic and friendly. I would describe their food as hearty, well enjoyed in cold weather to warm you up, with a mix of Mediterranean influence and strong use of herbs. Highly recommend the khachapuri, and chkmeruli (fried chicken with cream sauce) as the dish to try! P.s. the Georgian lemonade is definitely an acquired taste if you went with the taragon flavour, a strong licorice flavour. Would recommend the friendlier flavours unless you want the real experience. Waitress asking me if I was sure to get taragon made me laugh.

Yelp
Such a great experience trying Georgian food! We tried the assorted pkhali, I definitely recommend that with Georgian bread. They are drips but thicker, very interesting, beetroot and leek were my favorite. The soup dumplings were great, but I absolutely looked the beans with corn bread so simple yet so well seasoned. It's a grey experience. It's a small place so you may not alway finds seating, we called before reaching and that was a good idea. Good service, definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
I read about Tiflisi in an article from BlogTO about new restaurants that opened in Toronto. I have a friend from Georgia so I was super excited about trying some Georgian food. It isn't everyday that you get to try Georgian food. I picked up my order from the restaurant and it looked like a super nice venue. The staff were also ver friendly. The food, was amazing. My friend recommended we order Khachapuri Acharuli, the traditional style khinkali, and the Chakhohbili, some classic Georgian dishes. We enjoyed all of it. Our favorite was the Khachapuri Acharuli, soft delicious pide-like bread topped with Georgian cheese. It was absolutely breathe taking. I'm sorry to break it to my Turk friends, but I think I enjoyed the Khachapuri Acharuli better than Pide. I'm sorry.

Yelp
Have you ever tried the Penovani?! Imagine loads of Saganaki or feta baked inside the best, freshly made croissant you've ever had in your life! No picture can ever do it justice because you can't picture the intensity of the salty, ooey gooey cheesiness! And as amazing as that was...the showstoppers were the Khachapuri Megrul, which is delicious cheese-filled baked bread, topped with a nummy blend of egg & cheese. And the Khachapuri "Acharuli" which is super a yummy Georgian bread boat filled with loads of blended cheese, topped with an egg, and butter. Plus, the people who work there are the best people ever! So genuinely kind and accommodating!

Yelp
Tiflisi is a cute little spot on Queen Street in the Beaches, serving authentic dishes that highlight the delicious and varied cuisine of the country of Georgia. We went with relatively high expectations, based on a previous meal at a Georgian restaurant in NYC. And we were not disappointed. The menu has something for everyone, from meat eaters to vegans, from cold and hot apps to soups, salads and hearty main dishes. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and their proximity to Kew Garden Park and Woodside-Kew-Balmy beaches means plenty of parking. We visited on a Tuesday night when the weather was beautiful, and we opted to sit outside. Though the inside only had a couple other diners, the outside was packed, and the two servers working were sharing all of the load. And they did a great job. We ordered the spicy kharcho soup with walnut as a starter and it was the first thing to arrive. This tomato-beef soup was orange in color and looked like a bowl of cheese dip with a pile of chopped fresh cilantro on top. But the consistency was very light, no cheese included, and instead it was a paste of walnuts that added depth and richness. The cilantro was a delicious addition too, though anti-cilantro folks may want to take note. We both shared it and would definitely get this again. Big enough (and meaty enough) for one person to eat as a main or for sharing. We also ordered a plate of pickled vegetables. Served on a wooden cutting board, it included 4 medium-sized pickled tomatoes, pickled white cabbage and purple cabbage, pickled garlic, gerkin pickles and a pile of some kind of herb or flower or something we could not identify. This was the PERFECT addition to our table, and cut the richness of the soup and meat. Definitely recommended. We also ordered some of the traditional khinkali spicy dumplings with minced pork and beef inside. These look like little purses made of dough, and were larger and thicker than we expected. Flavor wise they included a variety of spices/herbs and almost tasted more like a steamed potsticker from a Chinese restaurant, but because the dough was thicker it was somehow more savory. One order includes 5 pieces and they are pretty big! This would be a great app for sharing, or a great main. There are also veggie versions of these, but note they are not gluten free. The final dish we ordered was pork spare ribs. These came out looking nothing like the photo on the menu, but they were perfectly cooked/grilled and had a delicious slightly smoky flavor. There were 5 pieces in the order, and they were juicy with just the right amount of fat. With everything else, we only ate 3 and took the rest home. These come with a sauce (your choice from 3 house sauces), but we forgot to ask for it - and in the end didn't miss it. Overall, we were really really happy with the food quality and quantity, the service and the experience. We look forward to our next visit, trying different dishes!

Yelp
We used to travel to the suburbs for authentic Georgian food, so we were thrilled to learn that a new Georgian restaurant just opened right in downtown Toronto! Located in the Beaches neighbourhood, Tiflisi is a family-owned restaurant serving traditional Georgian dishes ranging from khacapuri (cheese-filled boat-shaped bread) and khinkali (Georgian dumplings with meat or cheese filling) to soups and various appetizers such as pkhali and saocari. Foods that we tried: 1) Assorted Pkhali - Pkhali is a traditional Georgian dish made of chopped and minced vegetables, walnut sauce, Georgian spices, and cilantro. The assorted one came in 5 different varieties: beets, spinach, leeks, eggplant, and beans. They were all really good, but my favourites were the beets, leeks, and eggplant. 2) Georgian Salad - Simple and refreshing. This salad contains fresh sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, red bell peppers, onions, vinegar, cilantro, and basil. The herbs (cilantro and basil) really made a difference here. 3) Khachapuri Acharuli - A Georgian classic and must-get every time you dine in a Georgian restaurant. It's an oval or boat-shaped bread filled with LOTS of melted cheese and raw egg yolk on top (which quickly gets cooked in the hot melted cheese). The bread is freshly made and baked in-house. It's crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Perfect for ripping and dipping in the melted cheese and egg in the middle. If you order this for take-out, make sure you eat it while it's hot (before the cheese solidifies too much). It comes in a pizza box-like container for take-out, due to its large size. Perfect for sharing. 4) Grilled Salmon Steak - Nicely grilled and perfectly seasoned. It goes great with the side of grilled vegetables. 5) Grilled Vegetables - Perfect side accompaniment to the main dishes. We got grilled zucchini, eggplant, red pepper, mushrooms, and a whole tomato. Delicious, light, healthy, perfectly grilled. Eastern European food is underrated here. Most people know Western European food - Italian, French, German, etc., but less people know about Eastern European dishes, especially those in the Caucasus region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia). Try Tiflisi for some authentic Georgian food, and consider it a cultural culinary travel without the need to hop on a plane.

Yelp
Checked out this Georgian spot, and let's just say the bread was the Beyoncé of the meal--flawless. But the rest of the lineup? More like a one-hit-wonder. Beautifully plated, loaded with garnish, yet the flavor ghosted the party. Bland meats did a marathon in the oven, ending up drier than my sense of humor. ‍ Portion sizes played hide-and-seek, with potatoes being the hideout. Ambience: a solid meh; service moved at a pace that made sloths look speedy, and our server brought a cloud of unhappiness with each step. Wallet took a hit, leaving me wondering if I dined or invested. Not my foodie fairytale, but hey, taste buds vary. Dive in and be your own culinary critic! #BreadGoals

Yelp
Can I give 6 stars? It's not fair to call this spot a hidden gem; but I'm really happy with this find regardless. Located in the beaches on Queen St East, the location is obviously trendy. For appetizers we tried the Georgian Salad, Pkhali sampler and the chicken gizzards. Everything was amazing and delicious. It has a homemade feel but came with restaurant polish. As a veteran of Georgian food, I can attest that they do everything right here. For the mains we got the lamb bbq (chunks on skewers) - it was phenomenal. I forgot to take a lot of pictures, but I promise to update this review with more pictures once we go back.

Yelp
Went in for lunch with my mother without a reservation and we were seated quickly. It's just a small space but buzzing even on a Monday at noon. Service was ok to start, although we did feel very quickly pressured to decide. After the food was delivered though there was absolutely no follow up, not even as we sat there finished for quite a while chatting, no one cleared our plates or asked if we wanted anything else until I flagged someone down for the bill, and there seemed to be ample staff. Not a huge problem, we were in no rush, but I would have liked a second drink with my meal. For an appetizer we had the assorted pkhali and enjoyed it very much. For mains my mom had the chashushuli and I had the chanahki. They were both good but hers came out very far ahead of mine and so cooled off a good bit unfortunately. All in all not a bad experience, but not a slam dunk by any means. I wouldn't likely plan to go back, but if someone else suggested it I wouldn't argue against the idea.

Yelp
We have never tried Georgian food before so came here for lunch. Amazing food. Everything was really good. We had Pkhali assorted and even though they were all good but our favorite one is the beets. Next time we would order the beets ones only. The lamb skewer are really good. It was wrapped so it was like a pita skewer but the meats were so tender and juicy and marinated so it's a definite must try item. The Dolma had marinated meats wrapped in grape leaves. It was very tasty too. But I think my favorite was the Acharuli Khachapuri - it's a bread with cheese and a raw egg in the middle. It's definitely a must try. The bread is soft and you dip it in the melted cheese and egg mixture. If you have not tried the food here, do not hesitate. You will not regret it

Yelp
So excited that there's a Georgian Restaurant in town! Give this place a try if you've not yet had Georgian food. Kachapuri (5/5) - a boat of deliciously baked dough that's soft & fluffy inside, cradling melty cheese & a yolky egg in the middle. Such a crowd pleaser, highly recommend this dish for sharing! Assorted Pkhali (4/5) - great way to try this dish since it includes 5 different flavours. Our favourites was (starting with the best): Eggplant, Leek, Spinach, Beets, & green beans.

Olena K.

Yelp
The food and stuff are fantastic! If you want to taste authentic Georgian food, you definitely should visit Tiflisi! We ordered about 10 different meals and everything was perfect! Do not forget to ask for Feijoa compote

Yelp
SERVICE: 5/5 - Very friendly and courteous staff. FOOD: 3/5 - Traditional Khinkali were amazing. Seriously, they were delicious and flavourful. Some of the best I've ever tried in my life. The rest wasn't as impressive. Khachapuri Megruli was rather dry and flat. It was in the oven for too long. I've had way better Khachapuri Megruli at Sarko in Vaughan on Major Mackenzie and Dufferin. Chkmeruli chicken in creamy was tasty and a bit spicy, but goddammit why does it have to be chicken breast? It's dry and lack flavour. Why can't you do the same dish with thigh meat? Naturally, chicken was rather dry because juicy chicken breast is almost an oxymoron. It is very difficult to cook breast so that it's juicy. The biggest disappointment was BBQ lamb with veggies. They have the gall to charge $20.70 for 4 pieces of lamb kebab and literally 10 french fries with 3 tiny potatoes. WTF!? They serve 4 pieces on a long skewer. It looks ridiculous. A skewer is 8-9 pieces of meat with a decent portion of either potatoes or salad depending on one's preference. Charging $20.70 for so little food is unacceptable. Besides, I asked for medium-rare and they served well-done lamb. Overall, I had a mixed experience. While the people working there are great, the value for the money is rather low given portion size and the way they cook certain dishes. I would definitely be back for a double portion of Traditional Khinkali, but as to other items on the menu, I'm not so sure.

Yelp
Probably the best stroke of luck I've had in a while. I'm in Toronto for a course for a couple of weeks and went out with a friend who's never really been here, and we wound up in the Beach, ideally looking for a patio for drinks and snacks, when we discovered Tiflisi. She's worked in Georgia and I spent a lot of time in Ukraine where Georgian food is popular, so they had us at khachapuri - specifically acharuli/adjarian khachapuri. We also went for a bottle of really good dry Georgian wine and a couple of orders of khinkali. The food was excellent, particularly enjoyed the cheese khinkali, but the traditional were good too - really nice broth and really flavourful filling. Only thing I would suggest, having had to intervene in a near-disaster, is that the servers might want to explain *how* to eat khinkali for those who haven't before. You need to pick it up by the knot, invert it, bite into it to slurp out the broth, then eat the filling and the dumpling, leaving the knot on the plate. I watched someone about to cut into one with a knife and fork which would have lost them the broth!

Yelp
We were excited to try this but had a disappointing experience with the "meat stew". We ordered it as an appetizer and it turns out the meat is actually a mix of stomach lining, liver, heart and lungs. When we told him that was not accurately represented on the menu, he said when he called it that no one ordered it. We ended up paying for something we didn't eat but won't be going back.

Yelp
Love love love this place! It is our girl's get together for the first time since the lockdown. We are hesitant at first to order coz we are not familiar with Georgian dish. We started with the side dish "Saocari". Believe it or not, we are sold!!!! It is sooooo gooood . Next dish is "Khinkali". It is like a chinese "xiao long pao" but a bigger version. Oh men! It is yummy . We are still here trying different dishes....I was curious with the amazing service and top notch quality of the food so I asked around. It is a family-owned business that's why they make sure you feel at home too.... Food is authentic Georgian dishes . Highly recommended

Yelp
Unique cuisine worth driving 40 minutes to get. It was fun to explore all the regional dishes I have never experienced before. I highly recommend checking it out. Make sure to get an appetizer and at least one of the pastry items for the table.

Yelp
Very nice and cozy place. Very good and not usual food of good quality. Their garlic chicken was very moist and good. And very nice waitress.

Yelp
We were greeted by two friendly servers upon our arrival and seated by their front patio. We were a group of 8 and we were not familiar with Georgian cuisine, our server was nice enough to explain and recommend a few dishes. For starters we ordered the assorted pkhali with a side of Georgian bread. If you're into breads and dips, this is a good option. Our next side was the Khinkali. It was pretty much mixed between a momo and giant soup dumpling. I highly recommend. Our mains were Chkmeruli, which was their Fried Chicken in a garlic cream sauce. It was very good. The chicken was moist and the sauce wasn't overpowering with the garlic. We also got the Chashushuli, which was a tomato based stew to cut through the heavy cream of the Chkmeruli. It was pretty much an elevated Minestrone soup with seasoned beef. Our last main was the lamb BBQ Keci. This was good but we were already stuffed by the time we finished the rest of our dishes. After a few conversations, we were offered their cake 'Napoleon'. If you ever come here make sure to make room for dessert because this was worth it! Overall, I would come back and highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Cheers.

We were visiting from Kentucky, USA and went here specifically for the khatchapuri. We also had some other bread which was good. My wife at some dumplins and they were also very good.

Yelp
The food was not edible we ordered as a family we got khinkali and ajarski the khinkali had a rusty staple in it while the ajarakan had a long hair under the cheese let alone all this we did not eat and yet we're charged full price.

Yelp
Had a very enjoyable time on the patio in the summer. Food was great, and portions were generous

Yelp
Can only review their delivery from Uber Eats, but I am so impressed by the delicious and well packaged food. My friends have been telling me to try Georgian food, and I was not disappointed!! Traditional Khinkali is excellent, and the dumplings were so flavourful!! Can't wait to order from here again.

Yelp
Had lunch here today, our first meal out on the patio. What a good choice - the food was delicious! We've never eaten Georgian food, so followed the advice of our (very good) waiter. Every dish was so tasty, with different herbs and spices. Bread on the house to mop up all the juices. Together with a nice glass of cold dry white wine. A really good meal, thank you! I'll be back.

Yelp
We were excited to try a new cuisine and had trouble choosing from the long menu--so many unusual and tempting options. (We would have ordered the Royal Dinner Combo but it wasn't available.) We eventually settled on the assorted pkhali as our starter. All five of the spreads were delicious; the walnut and the bean were very slightly spicy. We also loved the Georgian bread, which wasn't just like any other we can think of; although only about an inch high, it was a raised/yeast bread that was great with the spreads. My chakapuli was full of tender pieces of lamb. I couldn't identify plums or tarragon but the broth was very tasty. My husband had the barbecued lamb with vegetables. What a presentation! A shish of lamb was suspended above a long plank with a range of veggies: grilled eggplant, zucchini, mushroom and tomato, roasted potatoes, and French fries. They were all good, even the fries. (Toronto is full of places that serve mediocre French fries.) The sauce was like a freshly made ketchup. The only thing they need to work on is the service. The lone waitress, although pleasant, seems like she might be the one in the family that got nominated for this role while having no experience--it was hard to catch her attention even though she was always in the room, standing behind the counter. Overall, the quality of the food and the reasonable prices make this a very welcome addition to the neighbourhood.

Yelp
I don't know how this has the rating it has. The portion was not at all like it shows in the photos. We ordered two of the wraps, and they were very light in the filling. Just a couple of pieces of meat. I swear I only got four French fries. When we called to let them know they said that's there normal amount. Trust me. You won't be happy if you order from hear.

Yelp
First time having Georgian food and it was amazing! Such a nice addition to our neighborhood. Looking forward to the next time we are able to come!

Amazing quality food, and great ambiance. The menu is quite extensive, there are a lot of authentic Georgian dishes to try.
