Yelp
Not kid-friendly. Giving the second star only because the food was not horrible. A quaint Mom-and-Pop style place with a mediocre selection of Americanized Italian food, not bad, but not great. What was truly disappointing was the service. Our private party, containing three children under age 6, wasn't given menus, and the waittress who took our order was hasty and impolite. We were placed right beside the kitchen in an area all too easy for the children to block for the wait staff whenever they were restless and needed to stretch their legs, even though there were more secluded areas available. But the reason we won't be going back is because one waitress berated me when my two-year-old sun cried from extreme hunger (for exactly two minutes -- I checked the time), as two-year-olds have been known to do. As I tried to calm him into his seat, she told me "Sorry, but my clients are complaining." We ended up eating outside.
Aside from the fact that no one around us was, in fact, complaining, I found this comment to be extremely inconsiderate both of my private party and of myself and my husband. No parent likes to be in the position of having to calm down an inconsolable child in a public place when s/he is in clear distress. The last thing any of us needs is for someone to criticize instead of help.
Fine if you are not a family, but not recommended for couples with children under age 13, with or without the support of toys or gadgets (we had both with us). Won't be going back.
