Absolutely exceptional! Every dish was a masterpiece, with flavours paired to perfection. The soft drinks flying menu was thoughtfully curated and complemented the meal beautifully. The service was outstanding, with Giuseppe going above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable. This restaurant operates at a level that truly deserves two Michelin stars. An unforgettable experience!

A very wonderful full tasting experience! My most favourite was definitely the miso element: the maple miso butter than comes with the croissant bread and the miso caramel in the dessert tart. Umami + sweet, what a delightful combination. All other dishes were perfectly done as well, plus great service. Would definitely come back again the next time I visit Cambridge!

Fabulous meal at Restaurant 22 for my mums 60th birthday. The food was delicious and service was faultless. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and clearly take pride in the food being served. The restaurant decor is understated with low lighting and limited tables, which allows the food to be the main focus.

Stellar tasting menu. Well- balanced with some lovely dishes, clearly a Michelin star experience worth traveling for. Loved the bread course as well as the lamb and duck mains. Extensive, well-priced wine list as well. Energetic and attentive service and loved the house setting- intimate!

(Written by Jo) We went 1st August 2024 at lunchtime for full tasting menu (7 courses) and discovery wine flight to celebrate my 50th birthday. The whole experience was amazing - the food and wine pairing were a delight - truly!! The staff were brilliant and knew so much about the wines and food and the service at the table and attention to detail were incredible. The whole team were friendly and personable and made the experience - getting the balance spot on between attentive without being intrusive. They went out of their way to spoil me - taking some pictures, indulging my excitedness and also gifting some very tasty birthday cake and a lovely hand written card! 5 stars all round.

We hired the private dinning room and everything about it was brilliant. Our table has a number of dietary requirements which were catered for and the very knowledgeable staff explained how the dishes varied the what different ingredients were used

This place is a culinary portal, a journey into another dimension from which you may never recover. I found myself swinging between existential euphoria and cognitive dissonance, at times wondering if I might get arrested as I shifted from the art admirer in awe, then vandalising the exhibit in front of me in the name of culinary hedonism. A few times I genuinely felt tears arise, held my face in my hands, astounded at what had been created, the tastes, textures, the whole experience a glimpse into undreamed possibilities… Every dish, drink pairings, the service, absolutely perfect. The soft flights were a revelation! I left utterly broken hearted that it was over. I may spend the rest of my days scrolling through photos longing for the lover that wrote her name in my heart and tongue. Only visit if you’re willing to shift from beige to a multi-coloured multi-dimensional experience of food, perhaps of life… Indeed only visit if you’re willing to fall in love ❤️

Outstanding on every front, Restaurant 22 goes from strength to strength! Each dish was exquisite in both taste and presentation, with just the right amount of information to fully appreciate it. The wine pairings were brilliant, with some really unusual and imaginative selections that worked perfectly. The service was also faultless, warm and friendly, perfectly timed. An utter treat for me and my 18 year old son who enjoyed it just as much as I did.

A stunning bar/club in Cambridge city centre, located in the heart of the city makes it a favourite of Friday and Saturday nights revellers. For a change of the usual Friday outings, I go to twenty-two because of its refreshingly different service from drinks to music and the general environment. It has recently undergone a refurbishment that has re-established the place as one of the most popular club destinations. Different night offer different music, Friday nights offer the best music R&B, bashment and danceable music you can think of, but I can't say the same for other nights. They invite top DJs from all over the place and the dance floor is hardly empty as the DJ dish out mixed songs. The cocktail is satisfactory; the sparkling light and décor gives the club a great atmosphere. It is not a bad place for a Friday night.

This has had more refurbs than I've had hot dinners - but I have to say each time it has improved. What I like is you get a mixed age range here, so if you are over 30 you don't feel ancient! Its great atmosphere, and the music is pretty good, they used to play a lot of cheesy 80's music on a Saturday but I haven't been for a while. As with any clubs, the drinks aren't cheap!!
