"With its chic and trendy bistro feel and easygoing buzz, this restaurant right on Marktplatz is especially inviting. The food is in keeping with the modern setting, with a thoughtfully compiled menu featuring creative dishes based on classic recipes. Ambitious, precisely crafted and visually very appealing, these are prepared in a small glass-fronted kitchen – diners in the four counter seats are guaranteed some fascinating insights. In addition to the à la carte selection, there are two set menus. At lunchtime, the options are somewhat simpler and more limited. A fantastic initiative: In collaboration with a local vocational training centre (Berufsbildungswerk Waiblingen) , they run a garden project on Schmidberger Feld, embracing a farm-to-table approach. This is the most delicious meal I have had in 10 years. Everything was made with Care and precision. The food was local and even the salad and the dessert and ‘amuse bouche’ and the main course were spectacular. We will absolutely come again!

An extremely interesting restaurant. The food is very good with an intelligent flair to it. Many of the fruits and vegetables they grow themselves are of organic quality, going straight from the plant onto the plate! Many restaurants could take an example from them. The wine list is small but very fine, with some wines that are hard to come by but worth tasting. Most are available by the glass, all very reasonably priced, bordering on extremely affordable. If they have the Crema Catalana, order it. It's the perfect example of their cooking: great, tasty food with an extremely special and intelligent kick. Bon appétit

Rundum zufrieden! Im Hintergrund lief entspannte Lounge Musik, die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm. Die Paella für zwei war die beste, die ich bisher gegessen hatte. Der Service war überdurchschnittlich zuvorkommend und freundlich. Der Nachtisch (Pistazien Eclair) war auch so lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Untere Apotheke in Waiblingen begeistert mit ausgefallener Küche in stilvollem, historischem Ambiente. Die Gerichte sind raffiniert komponiert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail serviert. Ein Erstklassiger kulinarischer Ausflug auf sehr hohem Niveau. Wer denkt dass es besonders gutes Essen nur in der Landeshauptstadt gibt liegt komplett falsch — die Untere Apotheke ist der beste Beweis. Begrüßt von sehr aufmerksamen Personal beginnt in sehr schönem Ambiente ein genussvoller Abend mit einem phänomenalen Gruß aus der Küche. Vom Betesalat über Käseknöpfle und einem gelungenen Nachtisch ist man bestens bedient mit einer guten Auswahl an Weinen. Alles in allem ein sehr sehr schöner und genussvoller Abend 10/10. Das war sicher nicht der letzte Besuch.
