Restaurant Duchardt

We came for my mom's birthday and were quite impressed with both the food and the service. The menu was refined but still accessible, and dishes were paced well. The staff is what made this a great experience though - efficient and professional, while also friendly (we've been to some fine dining places where the service was too pretentious to be enjoyable). They gave my 10-year-old daughter the same courtesy as me and my mother. Oh and they also speak fluent French if that's your preference! If you're looking for a fine dining experience that is worth it, definitely go here!

Overwhelming food and service quality. We were absolutely amazed and impressed by the stunning presentation of the dishes. The chef and his team did a great job. Look forward to enjoying it again..

We couldn’t get a table at any other restaurant and didn’t have much hope when we entered Duchardt. They welcomed us in instantly and warmly. No wait. We had our very young kid with us and the staff also treated her very well. That is rare with fine dining establishments. The food was amazing, as were the desserts and drinks. Pricey but absolutely worth it. Top notch establishment.

This restaurant was one of the highlights of my visit to Vienna, I must say I remember my trips by the food I had😀 it’s a top chef restaurant. The presentation on the plate is art like. The food is most delicious and the service is friendly. We visited Vienna for three nights and eat there twice, highly recommended

Duchardt was just amazing. Expert but super friendly service; careful explanations in at least 3 languages when we attended for dinner; imaginative and inspiring combinations; splendidly prepared and presented dishes; wonderful and comprehensive wine list; this place was just superb. The bigger gourmand menus might be too much for most but you can chose from them as a la carte and have a super meal …. And a long list of good half bottles for those who do not want to have too much wine ! Deserves another star for sure !

Dined here in Aug 2022 and had the tasting menu (dinner). Was a great dining experience. The restaurant was kind enough to enable me to make a late reservation and kept open until I finished (was the last person to leave on the night) The place has a “hole in a wall” feel which is very nice. The tasting menu was very reasonably priced and very filling too. Was too full by the end of it to finish my dessert. The wine collection is great and I requested help with the wine pairings for the dishes. I’d definitely recommend a visit here if you are visiting Vienna.

A very interesting restaurant in the heart of Vienna. If you are looking for a good gourmet restaurant this is one of your options. Small restaurant with just a few tables. Huge collection of wine and champagne. Scotch as well. Dinner for two without wine will cost you 300 €+.

Decided to try this place from the fact it has a Michelin star and it was recommended on multiple blogs we read prior to visiting Vienna. The food was amazing and the service started off exceptionally prompt! Our glasses of water and wine were never left empty for long and the first portion of our meal came out one after the other. Everything was delicious. However the service did significantly slow down during the second half of the evening in comparison to the first part. Overall great experience!
