In love with this place! It’s super small and cozy. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Be aware the bread is so good it’s dangerous, you would leave craving more! One of the best wild duck I’ve ever had! Radicchio salad with mustard ice cream was so unique and refreshing! Will absolutely go back and recommend this place, it’s a hidden gem!

A charming, cozy and casual spot for dinner. Watergang is currently one of my favorite places in Amsterdam for no fuss, high quality food. They offer a 5 course surprise menu which changes according to the season. Every dish is well-thought where each component is in harmony. There's no fancy chef tricks just for the sake of it. You can also ask for a wine pairing or pick something from their extensive wine menu, which includes a variety of options from different parts of the world. Since their menu changes, I can't comment on a particular dish, but from our recent visit, the most memorable plate was the sous vide pork belly with smoked eel. I never thought pork belly could be that light! Of course, there's also their pillow-soft brioche bread you just want to bury your head in. The atmosphere is very charming with cozy lighting, soft music playing in the background. It's an ideal spot for a date night or a nice dinner with friends. We were especially happy with the service, the staff is attentive and kind, they're knowledgeable about the menu and wine. The service is also fast. Highly recommend Watergang, and we can't wait to go back.

A cozy restaurant in a classic Amsterdam building, offering a seasonal five-course set menu and a nice wine selection. Each dish was well-prepared and refreshingly unique. The service was excellent, making it an ideal spot for a date night.

This was by far one of the best dinners I've had in Amsterdam in a long time. Each dish surpassed the one before it, showcasing absolutely incredible cuisine. Be sure to opt for the wine pairing—you won’t be disappointed!

Food was ok for a Michelin restaurant, they give 5 course menu, no food selection possible except allergies etc. The service was also Ok. The explanation about the plate was like being read from a book, not possible to understand a word. We went in December and it was so cold inside. Like, realty cold. Overall, I was happy with the experience but would not come again.

Possibly the best restaurant in Amsterdam! People working here are kind and willing to make you feel special. Dishes are delicious. They have a 5 course menu, soft, happy, delicious 🤤. Cozy saloon, nice Spanish music and a wide wine menu that will make you feel comfortable! They have gluten free options available

Michelin guide restaurant at the quiet street in the city centre of Amsterdam. Food was great, interesting combination of tastes and ingredients. Started with cucumber gaspacho, fish and sorbet, mussels, meat for main (forgot to take a picture of last two courses) and dessert. They offer wine pairing, I'm quite picky about wine but loved what they offered, fresh wines, oaky wines, organic wine and light red at the end. All worked out perfect. Service is great, atmosphere is nice, relatively quiet place. We paid around 300 for 2 people dinner, 5 courses with wine pairing. Genuinely enjoy it a lot! Regarding what could have been better, 2 main points, Maybe a bit bigger portions or more bread at the beginning. Dinner took around 3.5 hours, we didn't notice time while speaking but at some point after 3 courses I was feeling hungry, at the end was fine though. So, knowing how important for restaurants to stay profitable, either courses can come a bit faster at the beginning or adding more bread can be a good idea. By the way bread they brought at some point was fantastic. Space between tables, it's a small place and some tables are on the corners or on the way, so we struggled to choose where to sit.

A very quaint place that has an incredible amount of character. Unique layout, modern cooking and an extensive wine collection. We went here with a group of 6 and had a very enjoyable evening.
