The food was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was very friendly, attentive, and polite. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We truly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to come back!

A bit of an odd environment but the food was mostly enjoyable. Generally a little under seasoned for me but all of the proteins were very well cooked. The wine pairing was interesting but not the best. I would have preferred more sakes and less German wine. €7.20 for a bottle of water is rude but the whole bill wasn't too bad for the value delivered.

What a little gem here in Hamburg ♥️ this restaurant is on my favorite list now. We went here for lunch on an early Saturday afternoon and I can’t wait to come back! The food 🍱 is tasty and so good 🫶🏾 service was friendly and professional

Nice 6course lunch. After several trips to Japan, I can say it tastes authentic Japanese. Delicious wine paring and superb service.

Due to Covid -19 I was only able to takeaway from the restaurant, but the food is definitely as authentic as it can be. I have ordered twice from the restaurant and the staff has paid so much attention to the preparation of the food just like the authentic Japanese cuisine you can get in Japan. They even provided a hand-written/drawn note for the seasonal special box I ordered with detail instructions on how to reheat the soup. Taste wise, the food I have ordered so far were phenomenal. No words can better describe how much I love the dishes they offer.

For me one of the best lunch menu in the city. Outstanding Quality with salad, souo, meal and dessert. Been there over 20 times, they are always delivering. Not so many options if you are vegetarian!

Amazing dinner and great value, the chef’s menu with 8 courses at 88€, drinks were also very creative with a huge sake selection and great food. Every course was excellent in flavour and composition.

Very, very good! Quality, price, atmosphere, service. We have eaten sushi lunch (appetizer, small set of tempura, sushi and maki, ice cream). Delicious! And extra agedashi tofu was excellent!:) And wine of plum- absolutely yamiiiiii! :) Kampai an enjoy!

Small, crowded, delicious. We had a few nice evenings here and the Ramen are always really tasty. Make sure to bring some time since there is usually a line and they don't accept reservations.

I liked the food here..felt like I was eating in Japan. Kinpira-gobo was authentic. Sushi, the variety is limited but my son liked it so much that I had to order three rolls of tekka-maki. For lunch (7-9 EUR), they have stamp cards -- buy 10 lunch, get 1 free! This is good deal in my view.

Surprisingly cute restaurant hidden amongst the multitude of shops lining Eppendorfer Weg. We decided to visit, despite being massively turned off by the amateur website the restaurant has (photographed dishes with text that can not be displayed on any 21st century computer). However, this is really an affordable gem on our doorstep! We both took the 6 course tasting menu for 35EUR a head...and we were impressed. There is clearly extremely competent and passionate chefs turning out some delicious dishes, which are presented in an unthinkably contemporary way. The menu was largely fish-orientated - and was fresh as could be, and great value for money. I personally find it hard to get good 'exotic' cuisine in Hamburg, but this really stands out as a 'must visit' venue - it will not dissapoint.
