Great service, very friendly. Someone played the flute for a bit. There were quite a few dogs hanging out as well. The octopus dish was alright; it didn't taste strongly of octopus. The cheese and dried meat platter was good. The veal bolognese pasta was amazing. The coffee and cinnamon ice cream was delicious.

Very authentic restaurant discreetly hidden within a small hamlet of buildings. There’s a flag at the turn in from the ski slope just down from Furi lift. Great food and service. Ski back down to Zermatt village after a nice meal.

After a beautiful 10min hike down the mountain from the Furi gondola, we had a delicious lunch at the restaurant terrace. There we admired the view, connected with nature while enjoying the cold beer!

Amazing atmosphere, super welcoming hosts. Delicious traditional food. Went with Jaques from la Poste. They remember you and make you feel like a family member. I had the veal liver with roesti. Excellent

Yelp
Delish! Fantastic lunch and dessert from Zum See just above Zermatt. We had a Crute and Summer Vegetables as our meals and they were divine. Best food we've had in Switzerland. The service was stellar with friendliness, accommodation, and knowledge of the menu. The tables are scattered outside on a beautiful terrace, amongst the trees and hills. It couldn't have been a better setting! They even accommodated my allergy. Expect to spend 70chf for two people with no alcohol. 80chf with dessert. Worth the splurge! Highly recommend Zum See!

Yelp
Amazing food!!! My friends and I loved every part of our dining experience! Fantastic service, top notch food and wine, cozy ambiance, fresh ingredients and beautifully plated dishes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Yelp
Favorite restaurant in Zermatt! We skied down to this charming restaurant (Furi lift-Piste 50) and had the most amazing late lunch. The goulash soup was a definite highlight (better than the one my Austrian dad makes from scratch....shhh, don't tell him!). The Apfelkuchen reminded me of the one my Viennese grandmother made for me every year when I visited her in Austria, so authentic! The ambiance was warm and welcoming and the service made us feel like we were old friends. I can't recommend this gem enough and it will be the first place we book when we come back! Vielen Dank and bis nächstes Jahr!!

Yelp
Food, Tortelloni and Fendant wine was amazing as was the service and Napoleon dessert specialty. Great location with inside and outside sitting. We sat inside and enjoyed the atmosphere and camaraderie with other guests. Great set up with a place to hang or ski helmets.

Yelp
Wonderful lunch in an incredible setting. We felt transported back in time in this beautiful alpine hut. Attentive service even when restaurant was full. Loved the lamb Provençal and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms.

Yelp
Amazing a must go. I loved all the flavors. Original and so tasty. A must. So lucky I reserved a spot. . From the appetizers to the desserts a must have ! Most favorite of my trip to Zermatt!

Yelp
This was an amazing discovery. Hidden in an old style village just off the ski slopes. Staff was amazing navigating the different cultures. Make reservations as they get busy with skiers who have discovered this secret gem. Bring a few extra francs not to miss their wine list. They have really nice white wine from the region just above the restaurant. Tiglianello 2017. Sun block is essential. However worth getting a bit burnt outside. Walk up to this restaurant in summer and earn those extra calories. Beautiful 30 min hike from the south side of zermatt.

Yelp
Might have been my favorite restaurant in Zermatt. Have to be careful about getting there, since you ski to a fork in the road then when you arrive in the old hamlet with a cluster of wooden huts, take your skis off and walk to the restaurant. The setting is incredible. It is in the midst of the hamlet which is worth seeing alone. Little paths between buildings, the architecture is so Swiss !! Of course it was packed, but we squeezed into the restaurant that was busy and the waitstaff very busy. The food was wonderful. I spoke with the chef who was outside taking a break. On a table was an entire table of freshly made Napoleon. It was so light and delicious. In the summer, it'd be a great reward if you hiked up from the valley for a meal. Yet, the stout Swiss were hiking all over the valley, up and down, with and without skis. Loved it.

Yelp
I've been here a few times for lunch while hiking or skiing. During Ski season there is quite a mix of hikers and skiers and busy. Reservations are definitely needed. The food is quite diverse and interesting and have had no complaints It is family ran with good service

Yelp
You will not find a more memorable meal, location, and service. Homemade pastas and seasonal foods. We had lovely pastas and salads + an amazing summer Neapolitan for desert. Coffee to finish it off. And the setting cant be beat--sitting under the gaze of The Matterhorn. Go here and have great memories.

Yelp
Wow. This was by far one of the best lunch on the slopes! It's about a 35 minute hike up from the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise gondola station, but well worth it. You can also ski in from the topside. The pasta is all hand made and so delectable! Among the 4 of us, we sampled the beef stroganoff, the veal spaghetti bolognese, the seafood pasta, and the rosti with ham and eggs. Everything was so delicious and flavorful! For dessert, we shared the Napoleon and Apple Strudel. I would recommend a double order of the Napoleon--it was heavenly!

Yelp
Amazing scenario and atmosphere. We had the quail salad which was amazing. The lamb is very very popular but I thought it was alright. Slightly plan. They are also famous for their Napoleon which I thought it was only alright. Great place to check out but not the restaurant in town.
