"This restaurant is situated on the Rúa de San Pedro, the road into the city taken by pilgrims arriving via the Camino Francés, the Camino del Norte or the Camino Primitivo. Here, on the ground floor of an unpretentious stone building with a relaxed, rustic-contemporary ambience, Jorge Gago creates fusion cuisine that combines traditional and Asian recipes (leeks, stracciatella di bufala and almonds, mackerel sashimi and, for dessert, the hazelnut millefeuille). Additional bonuses here are the pleasant patio-terrace – the perfect setting for a relaxed meal or drink – and the extensive wine list featuring an impressive choice of sparkling wines." - Michelin Inspector

I found some fusion of Spanish and Japanese dishes here. For example, usuzukuri, which is one of my favorite one, is with the sauce of ponzi and yuzu. If that have choice of sake in their drink menu, it will be wonderful for all of us.

Found the place in the Michelin guide. We enjoyed it a lot. Amazing food and presentation. The basil chocolate dessert is a must and the pulpo extremely good. Totally recommended. In a quiet and super nice neighborhood away from the more touristy places.

Excellent restaurant, with exceptional service and delicious food. The plates have refined flavours and our waiter was really nice and patient in explaining us the detailed structures of the dishes. Highly recommend especially for people with allergies and intolerances, as they were very careful with my gluten allergy

Sad to say it was disappointing, restaurant was cold and all the doors were open. The food was lacking seasoning, the red tuna sashimi was very bland. For a place with a high reputation something went wrong today at least

Some of the best food I have had. The ugly tomatoes (tomates freas) went really well with the croquettes. Everything top quality and staff were fantastic. We were surprised how cheap the meal was (eur 30 per person) considering how good it was.

Food is 4 stars, nothing out of this world. But the price/quality is great, they have a wide selection of wine and the atmosphere is chill. When it is packed, the service is not so good.

Outstanding quality and taste of food. 5 of us shared several plates we all found food outstanding and different from the typical Santiago food. Beyond surprisingly good food combination of flavors were unique. Highly recommend the Anchovies on brioche (impecable), my favorite appetizer was the bonito with figs because of the quality and softness of the fish and the sweetness of the fig without overpowering the fish flavors. Finally as main course the kotkotxas de Merluza….left the best for last.
