My wife and I went to Abarike for our anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The food was delicious, the service was great and it had just the right ambiance for a romantic dinner. We started with bread and a delicious herb butter and complimentary dish of anchovy and raw fish (I forgot what kind) that was very good. I had Yellow Chili Ceviche Oysters that were so fresh and tasty. Next we had Blue Lobster lettuce wraps and Scallops, both were very delicious, very fresh and like everything made with a fusion of incredible flavors and attention to detail. My entree was Spider Crab Chile Stew, very unique dish, very very delicious and my wife had one of their featured fish on the menu and she thoroughly loved it. Everything looked like a piece of art and I almost didn't want to eat any of the dishes because of this. Presentation was great! The staff made excellent recommendations for wine pairings for our food. Abarike is good for diners with Gluten Intolerance which is always important for my celiac wife. Because I couldn't tell if they had GF dessert on their menu I wrote the restaurant in advance and asked them to please have a GF dessert for my wife that's not sorbet, ice cream or gelato and they assured me they would have somethin special for both of us and it was an incredible cheese cake and they had a Spanish Brandy in the house I had never had before that was the perfect compliment to the dessert, Solera Gran Reserva, Barrel Select, Brandy Peinado, aged 12 years. Thank you to the chef and staff for being a part of our anniversary and giving us a truly amazing dinner and anniversary experience.
