What an experience. Amazing from start to finish. Loved every minute of it but I won’t spoil it for anyone else because we went there and had no idea what to expect and that’s the best way. Very nice restaurant next to Peñafiel. I enjoyed launching the lunch experience with the visit of the restaurant brand new wine cellar. The menu was well balanced and the impressive wine pairing was not overwhelming, though some dishes missed what could take the restaurant to the next level. Service was very good with a young and professional team.

A beautifully designed restaurant with a refined and innovative kitchen to match. The menu brings a sequence of startlingly original dishes, accompanied by superb wines from the winery (the wine list is a treasure trove of prestigious labels but why go outside the excellent appellations of the region?). Ambivium is located in the Pago de Carraovejas winery, in the top part of their building. It is an amazing building with beautiful architecture. This restaurant has 1 Michelin star, and we had to make the reservation with about 3 to 4 months of anticipation due to its high demand and that it has maybe 5 tables. We reserved the Cellarium III Menu with the Alma Pairing, that includes all the Pago de Carraovejas wines, which are amazing. This was truly a once in a lifetime experience and every aspect of it was beyond amazing. We started the experience with a tour of their wine cellar, that included some of the best wines in the world. Then we started with an aged Iberic ham that was amazing. Then we moved to the Asian station where we tried some different presentations of tuna with an amazing sake. After that we went to our table and then we had a lot fo amazing food, each plate was better than the last, perfectly paired with a couple of wines that truly were amazing. After we finished eating all of our dishes, we went outside for the dessert and some sweet wines in the rooftop, enjoying the views and some of the most amazing food and wines I have ever tried.

Extraordinarily experience. We have been to several Michelin Star restaurants but our lunch at Ambivium was out of this world. Our waitress Beatriz was very charismatic, the food just perfect and the hole concept elaborated to the smallest details. The restaurant deserves more than one star. The pricing is very fair considering the quality of food and wine you get. Thanks for having us!

Of all the restaurants during my wine-tasting days in Spain this is the one place that situated itself as the massive cut above everything else. Located in the middle of the vineyard Pago de Carraovejas. The view is extraordinary, the dining area contemporary stylish, the food to die for, and wines to satisfy your soul. We had a 7 course degustation lunch accompanied by wines and it was nothing short of remarkable. Beef with roasted potatoes, simple yet so good. Stuffed fingerling potatoes, buck wheat risotto with cured fish, tuna with mussels in tomato sauce (that dish mentally knocked me to the floor!), chocolate dessert with strawberry coulis, and the finishing wooden plank with a whole assortments of sweets left me flabbergasted. The wines as well were completely magical, perfectly paired with every dish. This is food and wine at its very best and going back would be the easiest choice ever. But then I'd sit down for dinner!
