One of the best food experiences in Málaga! The chef is absolutely amazing — every dish was crafted with precision, flavor, and creativity. A true culinary gem that made our visit unforgettable.

I had a lovely experience at Balausta in Málaga. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and the staff were attentive and kind. The dessert was definitely the highlight—creative, balanced, and truly delicious. However, I found the “Azules de Naránja” wine a bit too dry for pairing with fish; it might work better with a different kind of dish. Still, I appreciated the originality of the selection. I’d happily return to try more.

Higher end restaurant in Malaga center. Very clean and well decorated, maybe lacking a bit of authenticity. We were a bigger group and while some really loved the food, others had mixed opinions. Not bad at all, but there must be better places at this price level.

I reserved there for valentine’s day dinner and it was amazing. The food was exceptional and the wine too! The service is impeccable and everyone was so nice. I sent them an email before arriving that i was pregnant and would love if they don’t use raw meat or eggs for dinner, and the response came back positive. Perfect dinner.

The absolute best meal we have had in Spain. From the attentiveness of the staff to the freshness of every dish- I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fine dining experience in Malaga!

That was the best food experience in Málaga! Fantastic cuisine, best octopus in my life. Great vine card. For the desert my recommendation is Tiramisu with goat cheese. Five stars ⭐️

I recently visited Balausta in the heart of Malaga, and I was very impressed by the experience. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, with a chill vibe that made me feel at ease. I must say, this was one of the most delicious meals i’ve ever had. The food is amazing but the service can be improved. We have waited more than 15 minutes to order, but once ordered the food came quickly. The staff didn’t even come once to pour the wine for us, never asked how the food is (although it was delicious, it is expected that in this kind of a restaurant the service will be more attentive), and the first waiter didn’t really know to recommend a wine for the food we ordered. After he took our initial order, he switched with another waitress, which knew more about the wine and the food. The manager also attended some tables, but never asked if it was all good on our table. Anyway, i strongly recommend this restaurant for the food, but don’t set your expectations too high on the service side.
