Restaurante Barahonda

Amazing experience! Jumilla was not in our radar for the yearly vineyard tour with my friends. We discovered it through their website and since the moment we arrived we felt it was a family run business. They start of with a video and history of their heritage and the. We moved into the tour. We finished with a wine tasting with some tapas and then we moved to their restaurant where the experience was elevated and even more enjoyable. Food is unreal marinated with excellent wines and service outstanding! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys moments like this…

Wonderful visit to a fantastic venue! The staff were excellent - service minded and incredibly kind. The guids of the tour and wine tasting spoke great English as well as Spanish. If you are in Yecla, Barahonda is a must!

We had an absolutely fantastic lunch. The food was imaginative, beautiful, and delicious. The service was prompt but never rushed. The staff were considerate and kind. The setting is lovely. And the wines... Delicious. I am from the USA and by our standards, both the food and the beverages were a bargain. Lunch took about 3 hours and we added a cheese course. We had the larger of the two menus and that included an additional starter (sea cucumber), meat dish (rabbit), and dessert. We absolutely enjoyed the dishes. All but one we would order again; the shrimp dish just didn't seem to match the quality or flavor of the others. The mushroom soup was so flavorful we could have just eaten that for a full meal. The sea cucumber was a real surprise - we didn't think we would like it but we loved it. And the rabbit was cooked perfectly. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area!

It is a fantastic winery with a superb restaurant. What a treat to eat here. All the dishes are put together with great care and taste amazing. And what wines. It's worth the detour, and when leaving, remember to take a box of that delicious wine home with you. Then, while you sip at home, you can think back to those delicious dishes.

It started with our booking that wasn't booked for whatever reason! But to be fair they catered for our party of 9 people without problem. This was our third time eating there and again it was 5 star at a bargain price. Well done to all.

Our 2nd visit to this restaurant was even better this time. Such a beautiful setting overlooking the vines. Friendly attentive staff. If you love wine and fine dining it's a must.

Outstanding tasting menu. One of the best gastronomic experiences I've had in a long time. Not a thing out of place and a surprise with every course. I would definitely return. Well worth it and not expensive at all.

Is a restaurant in the middle of vineyard. Is a site relaxing with longe area. Has a different menus and you may several add plates as cheeses. Is a author kitchen. With the magic fusion of flavors and the wine Barahonda.
