Restaurante Casa de Pías

Fantastic option for a nice lunch or dinner in Getafe. We will be back! Excellent highly attentive service, huge choice of different dishes (not like what some people commented, there are literally 15 starters and 15 mains to choose from!), decent wine list, wonderful bread. Our starters (chipirones, sweetbreads and salmon tartare) were very good, as were the mains (tuna cheek, presa ibérica and ibérico pork cheek). Very nice presentation. Desserts were also very enjoyable (cheesecake) and the coffee, different to many places, was actually good! The toilets and prep area are compact but neat and clean. It leaves one feeling like a dinner club. And the paid public car park just across the road, very convenient!! Next time I will not be ashamed to take photos of my dishes and share. Only down-side I can think of is the acoustics. With only 6 (or so) tables, and no more than 12 people when we were there, it was hard to hear one’s lunch partners. There is technology that reduces the echoing effect of lively conversations in a room. Will be back soon!

I really can’t recommend this place. The food is average and not woth it the price. Some of the food was a little cold and the wine was bad. If you ask for small variation or a vegetarian option they are not likely to think about an idea. But I have to say the worst in this place is the statff. I don’t know if the female waitress had a bad day, but if the is always unpolite like this, she shouldn’t be working with people. The boss of this restaurant is arrogant and unfortunately he doesn’t know how to receive feedback. He should work on that. In the end, they charged us with a high price the bread which was pretended to be served for free. By the way, it’s illegal to charge something to customer, when it’s not listed with a price on the menue.

First , second and third visit: delicious food, attention to detail. original, quality and great service. I enjoyed each visit even though the menu is similar from one time to the other.

Best restaurant in Getafe by far! Everything is top quality and service's suggestions were incredible. We will be coming back as soon as we can. Don't miss sardinas marinadas with salmorejo to beguin a great experience. Great for business meetings or small celebration.

Su tabla de quesos, sus carnes y sus postres son todos un placer para los amantes del disfrute con un servicio exquisito que te va guiando por cada plato. Con una relación calidad precio razonable. En definitiva una elección acertada.
