Service was great (thank you Antonio). The suckling lamb was succulent, tender and well flavoured. I also tried the local dessert, so light and yummy. Highly recommended. Do note that restaurant that serves mains open at 1330, while the bar opens much earlier.

Outstanding. Old fashioned service in a beautiful setting . Eat a quick bite downstairs or go up to the beautiful dining room. Service was friendly and efficient. Came for the roasted baby lamb it was delish . Juicy fall off the bone and tender. We had asparagus plate and the sopa castellana with an egg and jamón stirred in. Desserts were all homemade. So happy we ate here.

Excellent traditional Castllien food in Burgos. Started with the morcilla sausage and had the roast lamb as main. The roast lamb (lechazo) is highly recommended, good flavour and fall off the bone. Good red wine recommended by the waiter. Would definitely come back again.

This restaurant certainly lives up to its award listings. Done in a classic style that is both interesting and comfortable. The menu reflects the province's specialties and heritage. We started our meal with a red bean dish laced with morcilla and sausage, spices. Very well done. Our main dish was the Cordero lechal. Roasted to perfection. We finished with two different desserts and were not disappointed. The wait staff is friendly, informative and accommodating. They answered questions and made suggestions. We shared our bean dish and there was no fuss about providing extra bowls and spoons. My only suggestion would be that when a salad is substituted for the typical potatoes that accompany the lamb, the salad should be something more than iceberg lettuce and onions. The menu's salad selections themselves are wonderful. So a mini version of one of them might be more appropriate and appealing. This is a minor critique, believe me. A wonderful experience overall. Definitely recommend a meal here.

This place major selling point is it's superb decor. Mains are ok although I would expect much more for the the prices. The dessert I had was amazing and the main reason why I would return to the place,it was called something like explosion de sensaciones, color y temperaturas.

We had some ‘alubias’ and steak and i must say everything was sublime, the service was some of the best ive experienced in a very long time. Overall great experience and for a very good price.

Lamb, was nice but way overpriced at €63 for one piece to share. We understood it was one serving each at €31.50 each when ordering it. Not so.

If you’re interested in trying out local food, then this is probably the best restaurant in Burgos. Great service, and great atmosphere!
