The Official 2016 Kaaboo Del Mar Food Line Up - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Javier Plascencia is Baja food - a kind of Mexican-Mediterranean fusion that’s jumped across the border from Tijuana to San Diego. He cooks up a storm at Bracero Cocina locally, but is taking over his own booth for KAABOO. Whatever he’s serving, you’re going to want in your belly." - jess basser sanders

One of my favorite spots to hang out with friends. The servers are exceptional, food is amazing and valet service is great. You gotta check this place out. 😁

A very classy and macho restaurant and bar dedicated to the blood sport of bull fighting. I was taken here by a local who ordered off the menu. We started with tripe and pulpo served in a rich demi. Caesar salad table side from the original recipe from their sister restaurant Hotel Caesar. We moved onto a delicious set of beef ribs cut Mexican Costilla style. Slow cooked to perfection. Well worth the stop.

My wifes favorite place in Tijuana! I can see why she always comes here when she visits, it was my first time here. The fresh bread is delicious with an herb infused butter, I also had the onion soup which as bursting with flavor. What really stood out was the beef rib tacos al vapor! They were so tender and easy to eat! I had 4 of them along with soup and bread. They don't have a wide selection of beer but it's really more of an upscale restaurant but at a reasonable price. Valet parking, small parking lot and I will be returning next time I'm in town! Bon Appétit! 🍻

Nice place to get some good food, we had lunch there today, really good friendly service, quality is as expected and the prices are ok. Great location near Grand Hotel Tijuana, plenty of parking too. Nice bar with great selection of wine and alcohol in general.

A very frustrating experience dining here. I was ignored by the servers and had to wait a while to just receive the menu and to order. The onion and vegetable soup and black paella I ordered were both very salty, to the point I had to keep drinking water. The worst part was paying the bill - the server overcharged my card, then insisted it was due to tip although the total was more than the tip amount I added. No apologies offered whatsoever. I confronted the manager (who spoke no English by the way) about it and all I got was that he’ll make sure the service is better next time I visit. As I told him, no thank you, I will never be coming back. For far better food and service, I recommend Los Arcos down the street.

We had the Serrano ham and Mediterranean cheese appetizers. Delicious! Very good bread. I had the Shrimp with butter and garlic with the paella rice. It was exceptionally good. Highly recommended restaurant.
