Restaurante Cipresaia

First time dinning twice in a restaurant back to back. The menu had a lot of variety, something for everyone. Baby razor clams - tender, lightly seasoned which brought out the umami of the fresh clams Scallops - cooked to perfection. The sauce was not too heavy and had a good balance of flavor. Duck paella with uni - a bit on the saltier side. But even so the duck flavor comes through the dish. Bravas - can’t go wrong with this Beef tartar - even my mom who doesn’t eat raw, enjoyed this dish very much Stuffed cannelloni with fowl - the fowl was a bit on the dry side. The sauce was just ok. My least favorite dish. Service - similar to other review, it could be better and more friendly.

Came here because it was Michelin recommended. Lunch was only on the tasting menus. Chickens were dry but they offered the extra sauce on request. Overall the food was average, not beyond your expectations. And service wise, It looked like they needed more staffs. Drop dishes down on the table very rough. No explanation on dish. You get to wait and repeat for calling the server several times.

Michelin listed restaurant in the heart of historic Girona. We came late without a reservation, got ourselves a seat at the bar. Had 2 great dishes plus desert, lobster and 3 meat conolini. Plus local flan. All great.

Wonderful meal. Scallop main dish was particularly amazing! We sat at the bar which was lots of fun, getting to watch the kitchen in action, but might not be for everyone.

One of the most special meals I’ve had. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was warm, service was kind and we had some really really special wine. We got a few plates to share and then actually reordered the cheesecake because it was so good the first time. Definitely a must. Would love to go back. Worth every penny.

Small portion w expensive price, for exp anchois de Escala is very expensive. Overall we are not appreciated. We preferred this resto as it is adviced by Michelin. Besides, I really did not like the service.

Sat at the bar. Food was delicious and interesting. Service was great and friendly. See pics for food samples. Two minuses. Expensive though still enough food in 5-6 small plates. Sat inside to avoid cigarette smell but still came through the doors.

Excellent service with amazing dishes. Just the right size... not too big not too small. Sitting outside is relaxing in quiet road. Price is reasonable.
