Restaurante Coco Loco

This place is great !! Favorite place we have been to eat, and the atmosphere/location is perfect. Manuel was our host and he was very friendly and helpful giving us recommendations of our food. He also helped us give us recommendations to activities to do in the area! You can come watch sunset right outside and eat great food and drinks here! Coconut plates here are delicious and the steak plates are delicious as well! Great staff as well. Must visit location !!

Deiber, our server was extremely attentive, friendly and suggestive of what meals to order. He enhanced our dining experience. I have been to several restaurants throughout Costa Rica and all the food is outstanding. However Coca Loco is by far the best seafood around. All fresh!!! I plan on visiting a few more times before we depart! Make sure to ask for Deiber, he will steer you in the right direction

Great place to watch the sunset. Menu is somewhat concise but they seem to do everything on the menu extremely well. Ate there twice and had their special grilled fish with rice and vegetables and it was great. The steak grilled tableside on a volcanic rock is also delicious and innovative. Just don’t accidentally rest your arm on the rock!

Food was unique and tasted amazing! Wilmar took great care of us and fed us well. The Surf and turf and Loco Coco were both out of this world tasty - highly recommend the food and restaurant overall, great atmosphere!

Deiber gave us wonderful service and suggestions in this great little place on the beach in Playa Flamingo in Costa Rica. There were four of us and we all ordered different dishes plus two appetizers and cocktails - all were delicious with my favorite being (my dish) the Loco Coco - a creamy coconut milk rice dish with seafood - just try it, and tell Deiber that Rita sent you!

Coco Loco is probably the best restaurant we’ve been to in Costa Rica, not least because it makes a decent stab at a vegetarian/ vegan offer. But it’s also the laid back beach bar vibe. Great for taking a break from the sunshine or watching the sunset. Wilmar was our server, he was very attentive.

We loved this spot! Right on flamingo beach! Such a wonderful spot to watch the sunset and eat dinner. We ate here twice on our vacation and the staff was kind and awesome to us. Highly recommend and will return when we come back!

This is a great location right across from the beach and they have a nice menu. We were here twice during our stay. The Peruvian ceviche had a beautiful presentation and was tasty with a bit of a kick to it. The tuna tacos were yummy with generous tuna portions although the rice and beans were not that great. No real flavor. The Kraken cocktail and guana dragon mocktail were both great. Coconut shrimp is ok, not a fan of the sauce as it doesn’t really add to the flavor. Breading is also a little heavy. Tropical salad was fresh with a beautiful presentation and a good mix of flavors. The mahi mahi melt was very tasty, but again the rice and beans had no flavor. Service is a bit mixed. Some friendly. Others less so, more perfunctory.
