"Where to Find the Best Craft Beer in Samara Microbar takes its moniker seriously. The space is tiny—roughly the size of a one-car garage for Smart Car owners—and the beers of the micro variety. Most are from Costa Rican brewers, and crowned by bronze taps pulled beneath vintage movie posters. The serves cocktails as well, which we found to be hit or miss, a small misstep for an otherwise solid pocket bar."

"This comfortable wine bar may be a bit hard to find in the trendy Barrio Escalante, but worth the search. Oenophiles love the flights offered at La Uvita, like an array of glasses from Argentina’s Gran Caballero de la Cepa brand or the Cinco Elementos Robles from Ribera del Duero, Spain. The flights are served alongside intriguing tablitas , short wooden planks topped with cheeses and other Mediterranean nibbles.
