What a great restaurant in the Old town centre. It is located in the busy area, shopping street but when you are inside is it quit and beautiful. Everything is just amazing. We had the 7 course menu and all dishes were wonderful. The staff the presentation the taste and the portions and last not least for an amazing price of € 45. We asked for one glass of ‘matching’ wine and that was also very nice. When you want to have dinner at a luxury place, with nice dishes for a great price this is the place.

Food was great but the wine pairing was particularly inspired. All local wines but also wines you wouldn't see elsewhere. And all at a very reasonable price. They'd have a Michelin star if the young front of house staff had more confidence and the toilets were up to scratch (they were in a state!) Overall excellent, however.

What a delightful dining experience! We opted for the degustation menu, with wine pairings. First, the food. Each course was elegantly presented, with delicious flavors melded together ... and be prepared for some surprises! As for the wine, I was glad to try some regional wines, but many of them weren't to my palate. If you enjoy wines (not sherry) from the Jerez region, go for it! The service was impeccable, with each course (and wine) explained. As my friend, Kevin, says, 'the more you understand, the more you can appreciate.' Terrific experience, would absolutely recommend.

We did the 7 course degustation for 38.5 euro plus the wine pairing for 25 euro. The food was excellent and started out on the small side but we had plenty by the end of meal. The wine pairing was interesting, went well with the food and glad that we did it. The service was impeccable. Wished we would have found it earlier in our month’s stay in June 2024. Would highly recommend for the great value.

With such abundance of Michelin recommended restaurants in the region, we didn’t think we would come here twice in one week. But here we are. Original dishes beautifully presented and delicious. First time we took their tasting menu of 9 courses and were completely overwhelmed (could barely stand up from the table). Second time we went a la carte. They have the best so called Russian salad in the whole spain. Not sure why it’s still called this way through. Garlic prawns were excellent so was marinated mackerel. Out of the main courses we would single out omelette with oxtail stew. Local prawns crisps were amazing. All three desserts we tried were excellent- strawberry with cream, brownie with ice cream and pear. Great wine list and service too. Last but not least, the olive appetiser was an amazing surprise. Great value for money

Contraseña, Nice and warm decor. We went there three friends. We had à la carte diner comprising a starter with mackerel, and two “gambas al tio Pepe” The starter was fine. We order two glasses of red wine and one of them, the glass was smelling as sometimes can happen, of fish. We told the waitress and she took it away and came back with the same issue. The person who was to drink it gave up. The quality of the wine is terrible. The main courses the fish was fine but I had the veal and was half of it with inedible nerve and the rest, tough like rubber. The Iberian meat for my other friend was tasteless like if it was washed. Overall the whole experience was of a restaurant that is trying to accommodate prices and pretending to be what it will never be. It is as we say in Spain “un quiero y no puedo” I recommend for any one to hang out in any tourist cheap venue than trying to understand what is the problem with this place. Quality of food 0!

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE FANCY PICTURES ON GOOGLE. The food was terrible. We ordered many different dishes. The bread was stale, the shrimp was flavorless, the steak was tough and flavorless... Our entire meal was disappointing from start to finish. The servers were very kind and the atmosphere was nice, but the food was absolutely terrible.
