We stopped at Calahonda on our way to Ronda only to eat at this place that had great reviews.
The food is indeed remarkable. We had couvert, tartar, bacallao, solomillo, and all were really tasty and well presented. The desserts were stellar, my husband had the tarte de queso, you could feel the real cheese in there, not Philadelphia cream cheese 😉 I had the tartin de queso with tonicillo de cielo, and will never forget the taste of it! Service was ok. My biggest complaint was that we were given a high table (being with a 3 year old that was far from ideal), and told that was the only table available. We stayed there for more than one hour surrounded by empty tables (we were the only seated guests in that room) for the whole duration of our lunch. Also, it was extremely hot that day, and I don't know if there is not a/c at all, or if it was because we were the first table at the entrance and the a/c couldnt reach it properly.
