**Restaurante El Muro**
While exploring the **pueblos blancos**, I stumbled upon **El Muro** while looking for a refreshing drink on a quiet corner. Living in Dublin, I couldn’t resist enjoying some sun, and the waiter kindly set me up outside with a drink. To my surprise, I noticed the restaurant had a **Michelin recommendation**. Having just dined at 3-star **Aponiente** in Cádiz, I wasn’t planning on visiting another fine restaurant during this trip — but fate had other plans.
As I chatted with the waiter about beef, the region, and our shared roots in **Uruguayan agronomy**, he offered us a **chuletón aged for 46 days**. We couldn’t resist — and it turned out to be an incredible choice. The meal was spectacular, the service outstanding, and we enjoyed it outdoors in the sun, sharing the experience with a friendly German couple we met there, which added to the charm.
Everything about El Muro exceeded expectations. A mix of authenticity, quality, and warmth that makes you feel at home. **Highly recommended if you’re in the area. Greetings from your friends from Uruguay.
