"An intimate and unique restaurant, it takes its name from the nearby walls of Vejer, a beautiful ‘white village’ that was declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1976. Chef Paco Doncel, from Vejer, after working in major restaurants, returned to his homeland to lead his own project in a place with a regional feel and casual atmosphere. Recommendations? We really liked his Judías pochas con almejas (beans with clams) and, off the menu, the Tortilla de tagarninas locales (local Spanish oyster thistle omelette). Given the seating capacity... we advise you to book!" - Michelin Inspector

Excellent little place in Vejer, full of charm, very good service and above all the food. Attention to detail, produce selection (all local and seasonal) and a well balanced menu. Nothing is by chance here, all the tastes and flavours are balanced and deliver 100% on flavour. And if you are partial to eating with your eyes, the plates all looked like small works of art. Nacho, who met us and made us feel very welcome, also selected a very good wine and proved to be very accommodating. We will return for sure.

What an experience! A fantastic restaurant, a real gem in this small town! My experience here was very positive. I really liked the service, it was friendly and sincere. I let the waiter surprise me by asking him to serve me, according to the restaurant itself, their best dishes, which I should definitely try. And what I received exceeded all my expectations. The quality of the food and presentation was excellent, and the paired wines were so appropriate that they left me with the most positive feelings. I enjoyed every bite. An epic experience that I definitely recommend to every gourmet. And what is important, the prices are very appropriate for a restaurant of this level. Included in the Michelin Guide list. P.s. And big thanks to Carolina C. I booked a table thanks to her valuable review.

Excellent restaurant. Talent chef, warm and friendly staffs, exceptional quality of food - together all these ingredients nourished this world-class dinning experience. It is really a hidden gem in Vejer, what a wonderful delight to my trip in Andalusia. Thank you and I wish to visit again someday. (the place has limited seating, advance booking is highly suggested)

A Hidden Gem in Vejer – Elmuro is a Must-Visit During our visit to the incredibly beautiful Vejer de la Frontera in July, we had the pleasure of dining at Elmuro, a small and intimate restaurant that completely won us over. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, who made us feel truly at home. Their passion for the food and wine they serve was clear, and their recommendations were spot-on. We chose to sit outside, and the setting was just perfect—peaceful, charming, and full of character. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients and full of flavour. Our daughter doesn’t eat meat, but she was spoilt for choice with a wonderful range of vegetarian options, each as thoughtfully crafted as the rest of the menu. Elmuro is the kind of place that stays with you—not just for the food, but for the whole experience. If you're in Vejer, don’t miss it. A real gem!

**Restaurante El Muro** While exploring the **pueblos blancos**, I stumbled upon **El Muro** while looking for a refreshing drink on a quiet corner. Living in Dublin, I couldn’t resist enjoying some sun, and the waiter kindly set me up outside with a drink. To my surprise, I noticed the restaurant had a **Michelin recommendation**. Having just dined at 3-star **Aponiente** in Cádiz, I wasn’t planning on visiting another fine restaurant during this trip — but fate had other plans. As I chatted with the waiter about beef, the region, and our shared roots in **Uruguayan agronomy**, he offered us a **chuletón aged for 46 days**. We couldn’t resist — and it turned out to be an incredible choice. The meal was spectacular, the service outstanding, and we enjoyed it outdoors in the sun, sharing the experience with a friendly German couple we met there, which added to the charm. Everything about El Muro exceeded expectations. A mix of authenticity, quality, and warmth that makes you feel at home. **Highly recommended if you’re in the area. Greetings from your friends from Uruguay.

Five stars doesn't even describe it! What a breath of fresh air! Francisco is an amazing chef whith gold in his hands! His cooking is just spectacular, creative and delicious. From elaborate to simple everything taste like it should be ( the chicken taste like my grandma chicken!) The service is just perfect and the waiters are so friendly. I really love this place and drive two hour to get there! Thank you!

Fantastic food. Great Wine. Exceptional service. Everything about our meal exceeded expectation. Our waiter Nacho spoke excellent English, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was a special one. The fresh fish was extremely good, beef empanada also highly recommended.
