The 16 Best Restaurants In Cancun

"You won’t find better horchata in Cancun than the stuff at Flor de Lis. This place is ideal for a quiet breakfast or lunch—the service is consistently excellent, and the tacos de rajas poblanas, creamy swiss enchiladas, and green chilaquiles are always satisfying. Make sure to grab some cornbread or a vanilla concha on your way out." - barbara gutierrez

Perfect location. The menu options are extensive and all tantalizing! The service was impeccable, being a limited Spanish speaker the servers were patient and accommodating. The food was super yummmy! I ordered the huevos estrella without regret. It was recommended by my waiter, and it did not disappoint. It comes with two tamales (one cheese and one chicken), refried beans (which I usually despise but this meal has changed my opinion they were the perfect consistency and tasty), and two eggs cooked to preference all submerged in a bath of chile verde sauce.

Quite a nice place, didn't expect the good and real flavors of everything. The chilaquiles are really good, the Huaraches are big and tasty, we also got the "sharing" plate which is a good idea to share different things at once with a couple of people. We highly recommend the arroz con leche atole and the fresh bread, there is something called concha filled with pastry cream and enchiladas suizas.

The tamales were great. Chocolate and arroz atole were very good too. Coeliac/celiac friendly

Super nice and quiet! Great place to grab a bite late at night. They serve breakfast all day! Pretty good chilaquiles and huaraches.

This was our first time dining here. Overall, the food was great, along with the service. I was kind of hoping for more variaty in the tamiles other than just chicken, but the flavors and sauces were excellent.

I absolutely LOVED their food, but the service was NOT GOOD at all! I waited 25 minutes before even getting a menu, and then another 15 before my order was taken, and I had to go up to the waiters stand to get both a menu, then back to get someone to take my order. They weren't busy, and there were multiple waiters and waitresses just standing around, goofing around with each other, which I have no problem with but please take care of customers first. The tamales were DELICIOUS!! SO GOOD! I wish I would have gotten some to go for later. I will definitely be back. Just hope the service will improve .

Food was great, prices were reasonable, service was ok took a long time to order and get our bill but food came fast. Atmosphere is mediocre and was made worse by a family letting their kid watch a phone at full blast across from us, feel like the manager should have asked them to turn it down. Would still go back if in the area.

Very delicious Mexican food, I love the salsas and everything has a great flavor. In September they do delicious Chiles in Nogada!
