"Another culinary project courtesy of renowned sommelier Marcos Granda, who returned from Japan at the end of 2019 astonished by its culture and the country’s respect for the finest ingredients – a revelation which led to the development of this new project. Nintai features a design based around pure lines, large windows, several private dining spaces and a large sushi bar with 12 seats, where guests can watch him work, create and improvise his “itamae” style of cooking (which literally translates as “in front of the chopping board”). Here, everything induces a feeling of serenity – the perfect state of mind in which to savour the single ENSō tasting menu (two courses we particularly enjoyed were the Mushimono, showcasing the skill of steaming, and Otsukuri, based around raw textures) where the ingredients used are dependent on the seasons and market availability. Other highlights include the large cuts of tuna that are sliced in front of guests. Given that this is a Japanese restaurant, the desserts come as something of a surprise, plus Nintai also offers one of the best sake menus in Spain." - Michelin Inspector

Last night, we had dinner at Nintai, and it’s definitely the best restaurant in Marbella. The cuisine, atmosphere, and service were outstanding! The evening felt like a true event. The dishes were incredibly delicious and beautifully presented, perfectly paired with sake. We love Japanese cuisine and have tried various omakase spots, but this one is definitely the best.

Nintai is an unparalleled dining experience that transforms food into art. Each dish is a masterful composition of flavors, with unique combinations and textures that surprise and delight the palate. Even as someone hesitant about eel, I found myself captivated by its preparation and presentation—testament to the chef’s extraordinary skill. The storytelling accompanying each course added depth and intimacy to the meal, with both the chef and servers passionately explaining the inspiration behind every plate. Watching the dishes being crafted in real time elevated the experience, making it as much a feast for the eyes as for the taste buds. From start to finish, the precision, creativity, and execution were impeccable. Desserts, equally innovative, provided a perfect conclusion to this immersive journey. Nintai is a destination for those who seek not just a meal, but a gastronomic revelation.

With undoubtly Japanese character, this one-seating-a-night place will not leave you emotionless. The only bad thing about their menu is that you’ll end up wanting to come back even before you leave. Wine selection is well aligned for the food they serve and while we didn’t try a lot of them, there’s a wide selection of sakes. For what you're served and comparing to some other places in Marbella, it’s also a good bang-for-buck. Just go, enjoy the ride and thank me later.🤝

Amazing Michelin star omakase experience in Marbella. Creative, tasty dishes that will remain present in my memory — but standouts are the seared wagyu + the otoro and unagi temakis. Highly recommended if you want to treat yourself to a special meal.

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch here last week. The sushi is omakase style so you are served what the chef recommends that day. We appreciated that it was both very traditional but also innovative, with a young, attentive and very pleasant staff. The selection and knowledge of sakes and Japanese teas was also impressive. We would surely go back next time in Marbella.

Interesting place an experience, you don't get to choose from a menu but rather what the chef has chosen. I would certainly recommend it, it is expensive but well worth it. The food, all vegetarian, a lot of fish well presented and cooked/prepared in front of you. Three hours well spent.

I was shocked to hear they only opened 3 months ago. I do a lot of Omakase all over the world, this place can hold its own against most of them. The hot plates were awesome and the fish was sublime. Once they are able to get their hands on some Uni and Unagi, they will be even better. The service was impeccable and decor minimalist, like it should be. Looking forward to being back once Covid effected supply chains reopen.

Fantastic experience. Everything from service, food, design, execution was perfect in absolutely all aspects. What an Omakase! Can’t wait to return! A class above any other Japanese in Marbella. Thank you!
