The siumai were perfectly steamed with tender pork and shrimp filling, while the hakaw featured translucent, silky wrappers encasing fresh, flavorful shrimp. The xiao long bao were outstanding - delicate soup dumplings with thin skins that burst with savory broth and well-seasoned pork filling.
The udon noodle bowl was another standout, demonstrating the restaurant's ability to blend Chinese and Japanese influences seamlessly. The noodles had perfect texture and the broth was rich and satisfying, creating a comforting dish that perfectly complements the more intricate dimsum offerings.
It's essential to have a reservation because the restaurant is very small, which creates an intimate dining atmosphere but also means limited seating availability.
