Restaurante Las Pichanchas

Probably my favorite restaurant in all of Mexico. It is Mexico. Go when the entertainers are there. You won't regret it. Great price. Great food. Great space. I will be back.

Though perhaps not the absolute best food in Tuxtla, Las Pichanchas is great place to experience various aspects of Chiapanecan culture through trying popular regional dishes like botanas, cochito, and sopa de chipilín, watching a spectacular baile folklórico show starting at 8 p.m. every night, and trying their special "pumpo" drink delivered to your table with a bell

Loved the ambiance. Our waiter was very helpful, suggesting dishes. At first I was a bit weary, but it turned out to be great. The suggested dish was so tasty! With the luve music and entertainment it made it an unforgettable everning.

Wonderful dining experience. Absolutely outstanding! The food was good; I liked it but it wasn’t supreme. However, the entire dining experience including the show with professional dancers and the staff were simply great! I would go any time again!

Great place to watch live regional dances and music. You don't want to miss it of you're spending a night in Tuxtla. Show starts around 8:45 pm, you can eat and chat with your companions while watching regional dances in the center stage of the restaurant. Food is pretty good not the best one, but you can try some of the most popular dishes at a very reasonable price.

Best service I’ve had in the region. Food was great, and prices are reasonable. Looks like a tourist trap, but delivers. Definitely worth a visit if in Tuxtla! PS Please help your sister location in San Cristobal achieve this level of dining experience 😁
