The experience was very nice, the food combination very interesting, some dishes were very good, others less but I liked trying different things, which I would never have tried otherwise. The waiters were very attentive and super kind

We had the 10 course and it was a delightful experience. The oyster, calamar and the duck figatell and the home made sourdough bread were my faves.

Out of this world. We went for a special occasion and it was more expensive than I'd normally pay but absolutely value for money. We had the €100 10 course tasting menu and every dish was an adventure. Everything was sourced from the Valencia region with a focus on bio/organic and supporting local producers. The chef is a beekeeper and bees were a theme throughout. The waiter was very patient, attentive and had a good sense of humour. It was fine dining without feeling pretentious. I'd love an excuse to return!

A serene athmosphere and delicious food with a super super welcoming team. They take you on a full fledged culinary tour of Valencia that is just perfect for a special occasion. We did the 10 course for our 7th anniversary and the guys even surprised us with a little celebratory dessert plate. I’d 101% recommend!

What a great evening! The honey based dessert was one of the best Ive ever had

The lunch started with a few amuse bouches: with cheese, smokes fish and pumpkin and a cream puff with cheese. It was a good start. The snokes fish on pumpkin was really surprising, sweat, salty and smoky. The first course was cuddlefish with a cracker of squidink. It was light and fresh and very tasty. Then we got the sea bream with spinach. A nice piece of fish with crispy skin. I liked the taste of the spinach too. For main we got some beef cheek rolled in some sort of dough. It was a good dish. The cheek well cooked, the sauce not too salty. And for dessert we got different kinds of honey and a sorbet. And a piece of honeycomb. What I like about this place is that they're not trying to upsel anything. A glass of wine for a very reasonable price too! However, if you like beautiful ambiances with nice decorations and flowers, this is not your place. If you don't mind a non decorated table/room and you like good honest food, I would recomment eating here.

One of the most adventurous culinary evenings I’ve experienced, Chef Maria is clearly at the top of her game. Of all Michelin one-star restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining in, this is the most deserving (from a culinary perspective) of a second star. The menu is inspired and creative. Compared to its peers, Lienzo features a better balance of produce on the tasting menu, which seems better designed and executed to alight all of one’s senses (including visual and aromatic, not just taste). There is a focus on bees and honey, as well as sustainability, in the design of many courses - for example, pea pod shells are used to create a sauce for one dish, while off-parts of a fish are used to create a sausage complement to the sea bass. Presentations are among the most visually pleasing you’ll find at any restaurant in the world. The wine pairing was a delight, with the selections almost uniformly from Spain. Some pourings were truly special - among the best wines I’ve ever tasted. Service was attentive, with all the dishes and pourings explained. If I were to offer some suggestions to the restaurant - slow down the pacing of courses, especially in the middle of the meal. My guest and I were scarcely finished with one course when the next course (and glass of wine) were appearing. The entry area needs to be improved - it looks like a storage area and doesn’t provide the ‘wow factor’ one would typically find when entering a restaurant of this caliber. It would have been nice to have been given a printed copy of the night’s menu at the end of the meal, and we would have loved to have been provided with an opportunity to purchase some honey jars for takeaway at the end of the meal - perhaps by turning the entry area into a retail honey display decorated with an homage to honey, bees and their role in the food chain! And here’s an odd one - suggest raising the price of the tasting menu. Thank you Team Lienzo for a wonderful meal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :-)

Honestly one of the best meals I've eaten! I came here late on a Monday evening around 9:30 PM. The restaurant was pretty empty except for 2 other tables. I had made a reservation through TripAdvisor, and the waiter spoke very little English and said you ordered the tasting menu...? I guess that is what you get when you reserve, no concern the price was 37 euros and was many courses. Now about the food... The first dish was a Valencia oyster! wow amazing 2nd dish was dumplings, not my favorite but still good 3rd Tuna takaki wow was that good an I dont like eggplant. The tuna was great with a dash of salt and the wasabi ice cream was very nice tasty surprise. 4th this one I dont recall exactly what type of fish it was but it was good and the baby tomatoes were to die for. I also normally do not like tomatoes. 5th baby octopus yuca & corn cream, another amazing dish. Octopus is one of my favorites and this did not disappoint. The yuca cream was also really yummy. 6th Beef tendoloin with foie gras. Another awesome dish. the beef was perfectly cooked and the foie on top added an extra decadence to the dish! Now on to the desserts the first dessert was really cool it looked like an exploded red sponge cake with great raspberry sorbet. The plate also contained baby strawberries and raspberries my two favorites! The cake was a bit dry but the sorbet was great and so was the fruit and raspberry drizzle on the plate. Just when I thought the meal was over another beautiful dessert appeared before my eyes. At this point the chef came out and she explained to me it was a chocolate panache with lemon. It looked like the chocolate was glazed in gold very appealing to the eye and the taste was even better. I was quite full at this point but happily ate every bit of this dish. After dessert the waiter brought me an after dinner drink which I was to full and already had plenty of wine as a ordered a nice bottle of white wine to accompany all of these lovely dishes. All and all an amazing meal. I would highly recommend coming here for a great dining experience! This chef is super talented and would happily come back to Valencia to eat here again.
