Mextreme Restaurant in Cancun offers a lively and memorable dining experience that blends vibrant atmosphere with efficient service. One practical highlight is the convenient parking located in the back, which makes arrival and departure much easier, especially in the busy Hotel Zone area. We visited on a Monday evening and were pleasantly surprised by the live mariachi performance, which added an authentic and festive energy to the night. The music elevated the entire experience without being overwhelming and created a true sense of place. Service was notably quick and attentive, with staff moving efficiently while still being friendly and welcoming. The sound level is high in the evenings. One of the more theatrical touches is the presentation of the cocktails, which are balanced on the server’s head before being delivered to the table. It is certainly entertaining and adds to the fun, though the drinks themselves were slightly watered down. While still enjoyable, they could benefit from a bit more strength or concentration of flavor. A particularly heartwarming moment was seeing a large local family celebrating their grandmother’s birthday nearby. It added to the authenticity of the restaurant and showed that Mextreme is not just a tourist stop, but also a place locals choose for meaningful celebrations. Overall, Mextreme delivers a fun, energetic Mexican dining experience worth visiting in Cancun.

We only had two shots of Don Julio Blanco, Pina colada and nachos while walking around. Fun place to sit and people watch. Staff are extremely nice. There are restrooms for customers. Women's restroom had two stalls. Husband mentioned men's restroom was extremely hot although it was only in the mid 70s the day we stopped by. Seems like there were a decent amount of locals eating here so that was a plus! Added bonus, they give you a rack to hang your purse and hat if needed!

It's the hotel zone. Be prepared for the expensive prices. $20-28 margaritas. I was happily surprised there were very affordable options like veggie tacos and fajitas. Angel my server was incredible. He was friendly, checked on me several times. I got a photo of him balancing 4 margaritas on his head and walking to an excited table. He really was a good server. My experience was great. I stayed nearby and the hostesses greates me warmly everyday as I walked by. I ate there twice. I loved it. Better than I expected as a hotel zone corporate place. I definitely recommend to vegetarian folks with limited options.

Restaurants Mextreme was a serious amount of fun! Be prepared for participation dining (e.g. dancing for your margarita) in a party atmosphere. R.M. did a great job of accommodating our large group. The servers were high energy, and between the band playing and the drinks balanced on the waiters' heads, it was an entertaining show. Most of our diners very much enjoyed their food. I'd recommend the shrimp fajitas and mole enchiladas. Enjoy your meal!

It’s one the best restaurants we’ve visited in Cancun! The tortillas are incredible and so as the fresh juice. Here’s a big shoutout to the friendly staff - Javier & Maria - who recommended us the perfect dishes according to our needs and preferences. The washrooms are very clean and hygienic. Highly recommend!

Mextreme is an absolute blast! The food was delicious, full of fresh flavors, and beautifully presented. The service was incredibly friendly, and our waiter truly made the evening unforgettable—he brought all four of our margaritas balanced on top of his head and even danced with us!
