The food was very tasty and the waiter served us very well and very quickly. The roast beef was tender and made exactly as I asked. It is worth noting that it was cut and cooked in such a way as to allow a piece of it to be cooked better, so that my beloved could eat a piece of it. The fish was also very tasty. When I return to Tenerife, I will definitely take the time to return to this wonderful restaurant.

There are lots of good things about Mil Sabores but our visit was a mixed bag. We said yes to bread and alioli, which added about 4€ to the bill. That would've been okay but the bread was dry and stale and the alioli just didn't taste good - and I usually love alioli. Things then improved, as we enjoyed the homemade croquetas, which were soon followed by our steak. We had ordered it between "poco hecha" and "al punto" but when it came it was most definitely azul, lacking any real colour. When we tried to explain this to the waiter, he kept suggesting that we have it "bien hecha," which was bizarre because the steak on my plate was still practically mooing. We eventually managed to convince him that we only wanted it to be cooked a little more. So, after a few more minutes under the grill (on one side), it came back like the saignant steaks I remember eating in Paris - all good. It was well seasoned and was obviously a quality cut of meat. This is by no means a bad option for steak in Puerto but I recommend skipping the bread and being very specific (Google images might help) about the steak cooking.

Absolutely amazing service and food! We had several small dishes to share as well as desert and loved everything! The staff was very friendly and professional. They had a great selection of wines (great spanish ones as well) and offered ouf selected wine in a professional manner. We loved spending our evening here and would return anytime.

Excellent spot! The food was great and the atmosphere was even better. I absolutely loved the foie gras and the homemade bread. Just delicious. The location is brilliant on a small busy street with lovely restaurants all around. The staff was friendly and overall the experience was great. Would recommend.

Excellent, multilanguage service (fluent spanish, english and german, maybe even more). We had a red wine from orotava, fish of the day and the mushroom risotto, and the gin tonic and gofio desserts. Food isn't cheap, but worth the price. Good quality and very well done. The most expensive dinner we had in puerto, but worth every cent! The atmosphere helps you relax and enjoy a nice dinner at this place.

Charming, if a bit erratic service. Delicious Chickpeas (Garbanzos Canarios). When they say it has 17 ingredients they are no kidding! In the small pot we found sausage, meat, almonds, peppers, olives etc funny mix of stuff but it works as it was flavoursome. Rest of the meal was just ok overall a little overpriced. However, it is a nice setting.

Yelp
The Mil Sabores (1,000 flavors) restaurant is a bit tricky to find, since it is not located on a street that you can drive on (working with Yelp staff on this). I had read some really good reviews on other sites so I decided to give this place a try, and made reservations. Since my wife and I only have a couple of days in Puerto de la Cruz, we wanted to make sure this was a winner. It was! First thing to note is that our server was from Belgium, and he spoke five different languages fluently! This made ordering from the menu (Spanish, but with English text as well) easy to do. It was interesting hearing him switch back and forth between languages as he tended the various tables. Since a lot of British visit Tenerife, we knew there was a good chance we would have little difficulty. We decided to go with the Menu Sopresa (surprise) and get five courses, with a mixture of meat, fish, and vegetables: The first course was a light mixed salad with fruit, muscles, and prawns. It had a light sauce that complimented the meat and fruit and didn't overpower the salad. Perfecto! The second course was a carrot soup with fresh pieces of orange in it. While I thought it was good, my wife didn't care for it so much. The third course was a salad with large, breaded, jumbo prawns, which were freshly caught that morning. Terrific seafood! The fourth course was a venison stew that was to die for! The meat was so tender, you didn't need a knife. It was served with homemade potatoes that were sliced and then fried into a cake-like patty. There was also a scoop of cranberries that complimented the venison perfectly! The fifth course was a dessert of tiramisu with a scoop of coconut mousse. It was a good finisher to the meal, and while the coconut mousse stood out, the tiramisu was identical to others I've had (but good). The wine was really good too. I chose a red Spanish Rioja wine, recommended by our waiter, and my wife had a moscatel and Gewürztraminer blend. Delicious, and complemented the meal well. I would like to mention that the menu had lots of alternatives to the menu sopresa, so if you're in the mood for something lighter or something specific, you cannot go wrong here. To sum it up, I would highly recommend Mil Sabores if you find yourself in Puerto de la Cruz, even if it is for one evening. Make sure you make reservations though, as getting a table can be difficult on a busy evening.

Yelp
Nice place with decent food and good wine. The croquettes should have been warmer inside, the home made pasta was really good and the gofio dessert delicous.
