We had a lovely lunch here. Sitting at the counter lets us watch the chef work up close, which add up a genuine appreciation for the craft.
We ordered both the sushi and sashimi sets featuring the best fish of the day, incredibly fresh across the board. A big highlight was the Hokkaido hotate carpaccio. The scallops were ocean-sweet and buttery, and the ponzu lifted the flavour beautifully. The miso soup was also outstanding, rich umami with real depth. An absolute must try. Everything tasted clean, fresh, and precise.
The minimalist décor mirrors the food perfectly. Nothing distracting, just a clear focus on quality ingredients and technique.
Mr. Murakami is incredibly charismatic, and his passion comes through immediately. Hearing his story made the meal even more memorable.
We’re already looking forward to coming back to try their dinner, hot or cold omakase someday!
