My wife and I made a reservation in advance for our last evening in Madrid. Since we arrived a little early, the chef came out to us and offered us a drink while we sat outside. The waiter was professional, smiling and very sympathetic and asked us if we were very hungry. When we said no, he offered us the short tasting menu (6 dishes) and this gesture in itself was very nice. And most importantly, the food was flawless, delicious and creative and each dish was better than the last. In addition to the menu, we got an anappetizer of two small glasses of wonderful gazpacho with pate on the side, and homemade bread.The organic dry white wine, Verdejo de Menade was also great. And so was the dessert in the style of the French thousand leaves with a wonderful cream between them and a scoop of coffee ice cream See you at the next Michelin star, well done!
