"If, as well as enjoying a meal, you are keen to be part of a gastronomic experience, this restaurant is well worth a visit! Although not overly spacious, this pleasant and informal restaurant is enthusiastically run by Jennise Ferrari, a Venezuelan chef who settled in Las Palmas in 2013. Here, she showcases fresh fusion cuisine that is based around local ingredients, with the added aim of creating attractive dishes inspired by further afield (Mexico, Asia, Japan etc). Many of the dishes are perfect for sharing: we can highly recommend the Saharan squid with a roast onion jus, ginger, squid ink and mature sheep’s cheese." - Michelin Inspector

Old Town Gran Canaria: Come for the Cockroaches, Stay for Qué Leche Let’s be honest, wandering the Old Town streets of Gran Canaria feels a bit like a live-action survival game, dodging cockroaches with more confidence than most locals. But somehow, right in the middle of it all, Qué Leche appears like a mirage… but one that serves sangria and doesn’t charge for disappointment. From the moment you walk in, the staff welcomes you like you’ve just returned from war (which, frankly, you have..... roach war). The vibe? Chill, warm, effortlessly cool. The kind of place where you can be picky, gluten-free, vegan, or just plain annoying, and they’ll still smile and bring you something delicious. The sangria? Dangerously drinkable. Like, “cancel your plans” good. Fresh, balanced, and clearly crafted by someone who understands your soul needs more than just fruit and wine.....it needs joy. The food? Listen, I’ve eaten all over Gran Canaria, but Qué Leche is that restaurant. That safe haven where the food is bold, fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor. Whether you're vegan, pescatarian, carnivore, or simply hungry with no idea what you're doing, they’ve got you. Even the tamale-leaf mystery dish was divine. I didn’t ask questions, I just ascended. My belly was happy. My picky family? Obsessed. Honestly, I think they’d trade me in just to keep eating here on a loop. If you’re in Gran Canaria and not eating at Qué Leche… well, you’re just doing life wrong.

I am surprised they don't have a Michelin star yet. Rush before they get it and the price doubles. Every dish was excellent our favorite was oysters. We chose to go a la carta and tried every special they had. Not disappointed. One of the best Pisco Sours I tried outside of Peru or Columbia.

Located on a quiet street in the old town this restaurant is very good. Their isn’t much choice but the food is very good. The price is commensurate with the quality. The atmosphere is calm and the waiters are very friendly. I recommend it ! If you want to try this restaurant, you should pass a call to reserve your seat in the evening.

Top 5 ever dining experience we’ve had. Food was absolutely tremendous, service great (although struggling a bit with English), wine was fantastic. To be able to dine for less than 100 EUR for 2 people is mind blowing. Will definitely come back. Reservations required.

We found this place via the Guía Repsol where it got 1 solete. Food was delicious and creative . We shared 5 dishes with 4 people plus a dessert. 3/4 of the dishes are with fish and have a Japanese touch in it . Creative combinations like for example Foie with smoked eel . It was a pleasure dining here and also the 2 bottles of white wine we had (Manda Huevos) were inspiring and tasty .

Nice staff and ok service. We liked the Ceviche, it was fresh and very balanced. However, the other two dishes were not really to our taste. The one with (few) shrimps and some crispy thing and fried egg was very oily and needed some spices. Some salt maybe? And the same with the octopus, it could also have more taste or some spices in it in my opinion. And for dessert we got a banana cake and a cheesecake which were not really worth 8€. I could make way better cheesecake with a better presentation myself , and I did not appreciate what I got! Overall I believe it was over-priced for the quality and portion of the dishes that we got!

Very high quality cooking at reasonable prices: delicious, creative and varied. Good service. I just don't think the fusion concept works very well: each element is excellent on its own, but the combinations (eg sashimi croquettes, satay tamales) are less than the sum of their parts. Also this is a small quibble, but the bread is really terrible, reminiscent of the buns you get served on an airplane. Despite these quibbles, the best dishes are really fantastic. Get the fried eggs with prawns and the suckling pig.

Yelp
Visit in Feb 2017. Reservation wasn't easy but it was so, so, so SO worth it. Everything was mind-blowingly delicious and beautifully presented, at a price that was totally reasonable. We "WOW"ed and "OMG"ed from beginning to finish. Possibly my favorite restaurant in Spain. The memory of that meal always brings a smile to my face.
