Great place to go and have lunch with family. You wont go wrong with anything. Oh, the tuna tartar was way too salty. The stake tartar was nice. The stake was good. Difficult damage it all up. Service was spectacular even though we were with a baby which usually makes things at restaurants a bit more complicated.

Just to echo all the all the other reviews - this place has an excellent atmosphere, the food is very good, and the service is outstanding. Highly recommend anyone who is visiting Madrid. The beef and the starters were delicious. You should also check out the wine cellar in the back. The only thing that I would say is that one got the very strong impression that tourists were all piled in in the front of the restaurant which may or may not be to your liking. In any case highly recommend this restaurant!

I had a wonderful experience at Ten Con Ten in Madrid. I didn’t have a reservation, and although the restaurant was very busy, the staff still managed to find me a table, which I really appreciated. That said, I’d definitely recommend making a reservation as the place fills up quickly. I ordered the picanha, which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The food overall is amazing, and the atmosphere is lively yet elegant. The hostess and the entire staff were extremely kind, attentive, and professional, which made the lunch even more enjoyable. Ten Con Ten is definitely a must-visit in Madrid, and I will absolutely return.

⸻ We booked this restaurant in advance for a birthday celebration at a specific time, but when we arrived, no one paid attention to us. When we approached the hostess, she told us to wait until the table was ready. After about 15 minutes, we insisted on being seated, and suddenly a table was available. The person who took us to the table was unfriendly and gave us unpleasant looks. When I pointed out that she could at least be polite since we had a reservation, she arrogantly replied that she “opened the place especially for us.” When I explained again that we had booked for a set time and the table was late, she started arguing with me. When I told her she could stop, she actually told me that I could leave if I wasn’t happy. I left the restaurant angry. Later, since it was a birthday and we couldn’t find another restaurant without a reservation, my husband spoke with them and we returned. To my surprise, the rude employee turned out to be the manager herself. She never apologized, and instead kept looking at me and laughing. Even when we ordered wine, she and the sommelier were talking about me while glancing over and laughing. The service was absolutely terrible. The food was decent but nothing special, and while the cocktails were very good, the overall experience was ruined. Because of the disgraceful service, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

We are not sure why this is only a 4.3 rating. We loved our dishes, the restaurant vibes, and the staff were accommodating. The spinach croquets, truffle linguine and the sirloin in perigo sauce were so great! The drinks were also fun and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Food was excellent. But there was what appeared to be a friend of the staff that was extremely loud and even took out his cigar… The smell of the cigar permeated the entire dining room. This was super unpleasant. Without his loud talking to the staff and on his phone it would have been a great atmosphere. He was so loud that I could not even hear the music that the restaurant was playing. I addressed my concerns with two staff members during my dining experience, one ignored my concern and the other was apologetic.

Good fancy restaurant with decent but not spectacular food. Interior and other guests add up but the service isn't great. Overall good quality isn't according the price. Food is plain menu and the service is below you would expect. Waitress was talking with colleague while putting down plates without telling what we are exactly eating. Ok for a quick bite but if you are looking for a specific experience look somewhere else for this money.

Passed by as it seems to be a compulsory visit for anyone visiting madrid. Went for lunch so it was a bit quieter than dinner period (which is a plus). The service was great and attentive. Food presentation was excellent. Flavour wise - the Risotto was really 5* and is a must here. But I got the sirloin which was way too chewy. Also had the asparagus and shrimp starter. Asparagus nothing special, the shrimps worth a try. Fried right and the sauce was great. I recommend the restaurant for sure. But I wouldn't say it a must visit. 4 stars for the chewy main course I dont think that was a great cut of meat.

After a very long day, it was such a pleasure to walk into the beautiful Italian restaurant Ten con Ten. We were seated promptly upon arrival, which was a great start. Our server wasn't the best, but she seemed new and was definitely trying--so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. Service started off just okay, but the food was excellent. It seemed like a more experienced team member, possibly the head server or manager, stepped in when they noticed we weren't fully satisfied. They definitely made up for the rocky start, and by the end, the service had improved significantly. A few tips: make a reservation ahead of time--this place gets packed. Don't be late, or you risk losing your table. Overall, our family really enjoyed the experience, and I highly recommend giving Ten con Ten a try!

Without a doubt Ten con Ten has THE best risotto in the world, PERIOD! I've been coming to this restaurant for years and always come back for the same reason, THE RISOTTO! They are so consistent in the way they prepare it, I can't stress this enough. The most incredible thing is that they don't even use rice but semolina, which is wheat. Is the creamiest, richest risotto that you will ever try. The complementary soup is always a HIT. Warms you up and opens your appetite. This time we also decided to try some new dishes like the foie gras Mille-feuille which was ok, a little too dense to my liking. Maybe it needed some crackers, fruits or something to pair it with. We also had the "Salpicon de King Crab", delicious! My husband ordered the seared tuna and I got jealous. It looked and tasted amazing. I know the restaurant can be a little uncomfortable because of how crowded and noisy it can get but again "THE RISOTTO" is worth the visit, trust me!

Came here for our first lunch in Spain. Did NOT disappoint! We started with the spinach croquettes which were mouth watering good! Crispy outside and soft inside. My wife and I shared the picana with cassava and plantain chips which was cooled perfectly cooked and salted to perfection. The star of the show was the risotto. Amazing!

We really enjoyed our meal here! We made a last-minute reservation the same day. The complimentary watermelon gazpacho, Iberian ham (came with bread), and truffle risotto were standouts. The service was great--they even split our dishes into two portions for us.

Great place to have a cocktail and then dinner. Everything was delicious. The service was attentive but not pushy. We sat for 2 hours and shared dishes until we could eat ok more. Great food and ambiance.

This place was a little far away from the main part of the city but it was highly rated so we made the decision to try it out. It was romantic, classy, more of an upscale environment. I would dress up a little. The food was excellent and so was the service.

Servers were very attentive, the meat was very good. Make sure to order it cooked a little more than what you would like.

Wow, this place was recommended by a niece and also our tour guide from Granada Exclusive. We had spinach croquettes, pulpo, sea bass and the scallops! Definitely you must try it out.

The food was amazing and so is the ambience. I had the Rabo burger and it was delicious.

The restaurant is beautiful with a touch of class without being stuffy. The food was great, it was pleasantly surprise to find that my Bull tail hamburger came without bread, it was delicious. The touch of offering a watermelon gazpacho was lovely and I could have just had large bowl of it. It was very refreshing and tasty. The salad with goat cheese was great.

Service was great and we had a very friendly waiter who helped us. No complain there. This restaurant was recommended by our receptionist at the hotel and we asked for Spanish Tapas food. But half the menu is Italian. So I am not sure why it was recommended. Cheese tray was pretty good (although half of the cheeses were nothing exceptional and can be found in US) so for $30 I thought it was pricy for a cheese platter. The risotto and the pasta were recommended by the manger. But both had the same exact flavor and sauce so I am not sure why he would recommend two dishes that taste exactly the same. I gotta say the risotto was the best risotto I have ever had. So I would highly recommend it. I was also looking forward to my scaloppinis but unfortunately the breading was wet and not crispy. It was not executed well. Although this restaurant is very popular, I would probably not recommend it.

Wow. What an incredible experience. The food was fabulous. Starting with the goat cheese salad, the pumpkin consommé, the mussels and pheasant croquettes were ridiculously good. Their hot sauce was over the top. The wine was great. Priced well. Definitely an expensive restaurant but so well worth it. The service is wonderful and the restaurant is beautiful. The sirloin was OK for my perspective, but it also might've been because I was so beyond stuffed.

Wow, a must try in Madrid. Reasonable pricing and food was spectacular. Please order the Orzo risotto, yes it's pasta but they call it risotto. One of the best things I've ever tried.

Madrid is a way of life, the best way. Ten con Ten was recommended by our Wine & Tapas tour guide and it was everything we wanted on our last night in Spain. The service started off sketchy, we are tourists after all, but once I ordered the 2015 Prado Enea (solid pricing, only 2x over retail), we were treated as locals and the night became magical. Everything we ordered was wonderful: Truffle risotto, wagyu carpaccio, oysters, roasted black cod, grilled pichana and several others I have forgotten. It was the perfect way to end Madrid after several days of authentic cuisine and tapas. This was refined Spanish food taken to the next level. The sommelier recommended a Washington! wine from 2007 which was lovely although I should have just ordered one more Prado Enea. When I came back to the states I bought two more bottles at $90 each from the Wine Exchange in OC. Highly recommended as is Madrid ;-)

Really great business dinner this evening for seven. Food and service were five stars. Has a bit of a club vibe to it. Extremely vibrant. Highly recommend. Black cod was spectacular.

Very, very posh Salamanca neighbor restaurant featuring international dishes with high-end ingredients (tons of fois gras, truffles, black cod, etc.) I was one of a party of eight and we several dishes: Colmenillas (morels) con salsa de fois; very good! Spinach croquetas: one of the best I've ever had. It was the star of the night. Rape fish with vegetables; fish was just good, the vegetales were overcooked and flavorless. Tarta de manzana: thin, caramelized, amazing. The restaurant ambiance is, well, posh, in an 80s way. Lots of dark, spaces, mirrors, dark woods, cream-colored light and decor. See the picture. Unfortunately, I got my cava wine glass spilled all over me by an overzealous sommelier (he did apologize and replaced the spilled wine, but no effort was made to compensate the table for that). I did have a great time with my friends, but this was nothing memorable or extraordinary. Since the cava incident was truly an accident, I would not penalize the venue for it.

Baby cockroach very unexpected. When I showed it to the waitress she didn't apologize, she swept it away as fast as possible and left me sitting there until I had to say, this is a problem and to speak to a manager. She then told her colleague and asked if I wanted another. The manager finally came and said it was an ant and because the salad is fresh (duh) it happens. No apology. Only after we expressed being so unhappy with the response did she apologize and say we wouldn't be charged. Not sure I would go again based on the subpar service but the ambiance and everything leading up was nice.

This place came highly recommended by a friend who had just visited Madrid on his honeymoon--and it did not ​. The atmosphere was an intimate setting, yet perfect for small gatherings or happy hour. But the best part of this restaurant is undoubtedly their food. To eat: They begin the meal with fresh bread and give you a pumpkin soup to dip the bread in. They also give you a bowl of olives. For appetizers: -we shared the burrata and fig salad. You don't usually think of burrata when you think of Spain, but it was phenomenal here. The figs were fresh. -The spinach croquettas: possibly the best we had in spain. -The truffle pasta: PHENOMENAL. the best part of the meal. It came with an egg yolk that you crack and mix into the pasta, and it really added to the sauce and made it creamy. To drink: THE best espresso martinis we had in Spain! GO HERE!

Fuimos a Ten con Ten para comer, excelente servicio, muy rapido. El platillo estrella fue el risotto, definitivamente espectacular, solo que la porción muy pequeña. También probamos la ensalada verde con naranja y aguacate, muy recomendable, y las anchoas con tomate, que no nos impresionaron. El lugar muy bonito y con buen ambiente.

Incredible food, service and location! We started with a tuna tartar and I had the Picanha as an entree - both were 10/10. Service was also great and the restaurant is beautiful.

Very unfriendly staff. They made fun of me for trying to speak Spanish and completely rushed our meal. Never checked in on us/never got refills/ and continuously ignored my husband and I. Very disappointed.

Without doubt one of the best restaurants I ever eat in. The service was super helpful and made my daughter laugh. The food was so delicious that we come back the same day for dinner. I really recomen: Torrijas de brioche con coco, Rissoto de semola con trufa, Pulpo de pedreiro.

Wonderful dinner in Madrid. This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. From the spinach croquettes to the truffle risotto it was all top notch. Also, the wait staff was so attentive I don't think my drink glass was ever empty while I dined. The decor is elegant and beautiful- the ambiance left nothing to be desired. 10/10 ;)

Opulence? Check! Luxury hip-vibe complete with hot female DJ? Check! Delicious well prepared food? Check? Glamorous crowd to watch while you sip and dine? Double-check! Hefty bill afterward for all of it? Um...yes; check!! Worth it though. Go. Make this a special occasion spot. We walked in too. As this was one of the few spot where we could arrive having made no reservations. Which in Madrid and Lisbon was kind of a must. The popular places book up. But it was late, and it was just the two of us...so we scored a table. Food was lovely and the menu was expansive. I did feel a little outpaced though but if that is the kind of thing you seek, you will walk past two Bentleys and even a Maybach to get in here! But the wine service, the food, the atmosphere....worth the splurge...just act like you belong here, because you do!

Very limited menu. We had a hard time choosing something. We had the risotto which was very good but the rest, pasta and veal were just ok. The place was packed but not sure why.

My family has been coming to this restaurant for many years. We currently reside in the states but we are Spanish citizens and travel to Spain at least twice a year. Ten con ten has always been a reliable spot and one we would recommend to our friends. This last time we went my experience was atrocious. We made a reservation for 12 people at 8 pm. We showed up at 7:58. We were not attended until 8:14- not even a hello, how are you, we'll be right with you. Actually I stand corrected, the only thing that was said to us was you must wear a mask(at least they somewhat care about public health). Also I must critique the fact that the hostess didn't even have a stand or podium rather we had to be sent to the corner of the bar where servers were running in and out. For a restaurant that is as expensive as this, you'd expect to be greeted properly at a proper location with nice people. Anyhow, when the hostess asked the name for the reservation, she still had yet to ask how we were doing, she proceeded to dictate the standard rule of you have the table reserved for two hours and we would not be able to accommodate you after 10 pm. Shocked at the priorities this restaurant had, I responded with the fact that sure but I have been waiting here for 15 mins. Her only response was to repeat the 2 hour rule... didn't even acknowledge the bad service. We spoke to the manager and luckily we had a great waitress that eased our experience. However here are my thoughts on the 2 hour rule. That rule should not be applied for a group of 12; how are you going to give a table for 4 the same amount of time to appreciate their culinary experience. Additionally we're talking about Spanish culture, where sitting at the table and eating should not be rushed and is encouraged to last long. A table of 12 who's bill will be over 2000$ should NOT feel rushed. My last critique would be that when the time came to pay, it's typical for the the servers come to you with the card machine. After having spoke to the manager and sharing our thoughts of the hostess, he still allowed the hostess to be the one to cover our bill and her attitude had not improved. They had many people working that night, there was no need to have the same lady who treated us poorly be sent our way and continue to have attitude with us. I honestly don't see myself coming any time soon to this restaurant, nor do I see myself recommending it to anyone I know. Clearly the fame has gotten to them, and they feel entitled to treat customers however they'd like. Sure the food is good, but frankly there are a lot of Spanish restaurants with amazing food and they don't find the need to be condescending to their customers. If you still decide to give this place a shot, I hope your experience is not as negative as mine. I'd recommend to try the risotto, it's a principal dish.

This was the dining experience I enjoyed the most while in Madrid that made me feel like I was in one of the trendiest spots in Spain (I actually probably was.) Here's what you need to know: 1. Make a reservation if you can... we had our hotel call and confirm a reservation for us. 2. Knowledge staff that understands how any cocktail or wine pairs with your meals. 3. One of the best gin and tonics I had while here. 4. Dishes were well priced and portioned. 5. I still dream about the dessert and menu (yes, we ordered almost all of it...) If you're in Madrid, Ten Con Ten should be on your list of places to stop by.

We visited this restaurant in July of 2017. Great food and great atmosphere. Price consistent with other like restaurants. Prior reservation is a must. Service was comparable to other premium restaurants in Madrid.

Best atmosphere I have ever been in for a restaurant. The service was fast and effective. Probably the best truffle risotto I have ever had. Picana steak was a hit too!! A must go to.

We visited this restaurant because it was highly recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. We had a great meal and service was outstanding. We enjoyed one of the best torrijas we've ever had.

We dropped in after shopping in Serrano based on friends recommendations. Amazing atmosphere, great food, great drinks and people watching and fast and professional service. The reception people are very welcoming, servers are professional with plate changes at every course and meal was paced well. The best octopus (Galician style with potato) they we ever had. Drinks are well-made too and great selection at the bar. Must go for high-end, gourmet meal with an amazing vibe!

My favorite dinner in Madrid - food, service, ambiance all great. The truffle risotto is a MUST. Also highly recommend the queens chocolate, which is now an off-menu dessert item but so good.

Solid place to try if you're in Madrid. The service is pretty slow but the drinks and food are great! Ordered truffle risotto, octopus, and picahna. Everything was tender and packed with flavor. I went pretty late on a Monday night and stayed until 2 am! Good vibe

If 0 stars were allowed I would rate this pathetic little dump of an establishment at that. The food is extremely over priced, unflavored and under served and under cooked. Oh and don't even consider coming here if you speak English. They will disrespect you the second you walk in the door. They will ignore you, and add extra things to your bill without stating it. Not to mention make fun of you for coming in the first place. My wife and I spent over 300 euros and they couldn't get us out the door fast enough while laughing. I feel like I got robbed. STAY AWAY

The restaurant is a beautiful atmosphere. We had a table for 5 at 9:00. We ordered a bottle of wine which came right away. They rushed us to order our food, we ordered 4 pastas, vegetables and scallops. I felt they were annoyed we didn't order large meals . Our food literally came in 5 minutes, we didn't even have a chance to drink our wine and enjoy. We were literally done by 9:30 and it was expensive so disappointed they rushed us out. The food was not very tasty either.

The interior/atmosphere of the restaurant was one of the best I've been to, but I found the food and actual experience slightly underwhelming. We started off with a bread basket and pumpkin soup. Unfortunately, the bread was extremely hard and stale, and the soup was okay. Then I ordered the black truffle risotto and my friend ordered the sea bass. At first, I really enjoyed the risotto - it was creamy, indulgent, and cooked to perfection. However, after half the dish, I felt like I was eating heavy mac and cheese, and had to use all the remaining bread to balance out the cream. I tried a bit of my friend's sea bass and it was okay - I didn't particularly like the sauce. For dessert, we both got the ten con ten cake, which is basically a coffee - caramel cheesecake. I liked the cheesecake component a lot, but the coffee was too bitter. Overall, come here for the ambiance and environment but don't expect the greatest food in your life.

Loved Ten con Ten. Ambiance was fun, the food was excellent and the service was top. It did get super crowded at one point, but they managed the crowd quickly. Also, amazing DJ. Can't wait to go back!

I mean.... WOW! Ten con Ten literally made my trip to Madrid. Will go back just to go back to this restaurant. The food the atmosphere the experience 10 all around! The truffle Risotto is a must, as is the fig salad. You literally can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu. The croquettes, the steak, the ravioli, you name it it's GREAT. It's so good, i don't write reviews but this deserves every second of my valuable time. God bless this Risotto, and God bless Ten con Ten!

The food here was really good. The truffle resotto was amazing also their picanha is really good. The fillet was also great. The tarta ten con ten is also really good. Ambiance is solid. We will come back when in Madrid again for sure!

Best meal we had in Spain!! This was my second visit to Ten Con Ten! The service, food and drink are top notch. It is the local see and be seen restaurant. We had a perfect table not too far from the bar. I had chicken my husband had the truffle pasta and both dishes were super. I also had the pornstar martini- try it!
